@@schumi26 I actually didn't know that, as I didn't follow charts back then! 😯 But I guess at the time metal & rock was wildly more popular in Finland, hip hop not so much... (And TBH I also prefer the former very much, it's just this one song that is so truly great & iconic! 😉)

Lists tell nothing anyway but 90s to mid 2000's was a very good time in Finnish music. Bomfunk MC's was one of the big names. Also the Darude hit "Sandstorm" came from same era

This made me realise that the epic intro combo of blues guitar and techno riff is actually really great for Eurovision: captivating, never done before during the contest (I think) and sets the stage for a killer party track
