Another favorite Italian grape that deserves more attention than it gets.

I have about half a acre of barbera planted on my property here in California, as well as Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Alicante Bouschet and Criolla Mediana 2.

Thank You for another great cast. In my shop there are offerings of Barbera/Dolcetto blends which make pleasant table wines. Very much looking forward to your Italian series!

Thanks! Those really can be terrific blends and from what I understand they're a real staple of Piedmontese food and wine culture. I'm looking forward to doing more Italian stuff, too. Cheers!

Hey! Another great cast, and as always, I get excited when I see new video. You asked for a recommendation and also mentioned Arizona in this cast, so my request would be that of Malvasia Bianca! This is proving to be Arizona's star white grape; at least for the last 5 years that I've been working with that grape. I've done my own study but would to one day love to see your prospective on that grape and its ties to Greece and mainly Italy. Hope your studies are coming along well, and whether or not you get the free time to do a cast on this grape, always know your videos are an inspiration to me and my group of friends in the AZ wine industry.

Thank you! I'll look into Malvasia and see what I can come up with. Really interesting to hear that it's becoming so important in Arizona. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Cheers!

Nicely done as always sir. Italian wine is my passion so I look forward to furthers casts. Thank you for your efforts, they are truly valued and treasured by many. Cheers. Ps. Damilano and Michele Chiarlo La Court Nizza are the best examples I’ve tried

Thank you! I'm glad that what I do is helpful to others. Thanks for the recommendations. I need to drink more Nizzas, so it's good to know what to be on the lookout for. Cheers!

If you are a real barbera lover, you must try the Barbera d'asti "i bricchi "Made by casa vinicola Scarpa.....I don't know of you can find it in U.S......But I can say, as italian and barbera wines collector, "i bricchi "is the top

Great cast i love italian wine and i really enjoy the barbera wines. Can i request for a cast on the Argaman grape varietal ?
@TheUnknownWinecaster
@TheUnknownWinecaster 6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I will probably fold Argaman into a cast that I hope to do on Israeli wines. Argaman is an interesting grape, but it's not widely planted outside of Israel and it's still developing a reputation for quality, so I don't think there's enough on it for a stand alone cast, but it will be a nice part of an Israeli cast. Cheers!

I don't know about Yogi but it's definitely Hannah-Barbera, so that's something I guess. Thanks for checking it out -- cheers!
