I get what they are teaching. Biting, eye gouging and nutshots work in a fight. However if someone bit me in that standing position, I would slam her head hard on the ground. I can fight with a bit of ear, can yoi fight with a skull that is cracked? Also if you bite someone in side control, he can just elbow your face or bite you back or stick a thumb into your eye. You can better work on a real sidecontrol escape. One that works on trained fighters. If a woman wants to learn how to defend herself, go train mma. Real female mma fighters have successfully defended themselves and even beat up her attacker. Ad in headbutts and etcetera to your training and done, real fighting skills for self defense.

Other martial artist who don’t use mma ,have successfully defended themselves in a fight as well ,what’s your point? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Also that was the whole point of this exercise. I’m sure she knows that ,but just didn’t get to some of the possible outcomes. This works because JKD is the original mma fighting style ,that combined multiple martial arts styles.

@@orihimeinoie I agree that boxers or wrestlers also will defend themselves really good in a street fight. Or a judoka etcetera. But my point is that just biting, eye gouging and nutshots aren't going to win you fights if your attacker has full intention to hurt you. Learn how to fight first and then ad eye strikes and headbutts and so on. Also I mentioned mma because it includes stand-up fighting and ground fighting. It's great to be able to fight everywhere.

I actually agree that fight ADRELINE can overcome being bitten ..then feel the pain after the fight.. Also I disagree because if I hit someone in the eye with a eye jab then I'm going to follow that up with quick punch combonations 👍

Agree that you need to do what it takes and also 85 percent of situations like that end up on the ground however I would not bite a stranger as they may have a blood disease snap the pinky finger no one's finger is stronger than your entire hand female or not then eye gouge followed by throat and groin strike so preferably not ending up with the guy on top

@@JohnOliverY I disagree the pain of a broken finger I felt through the entire body remember the attacker is no likely to be practised in martial arts if they are stupid enough to try again then the break of the thumb wrist or arm is a lot easier I know as I have over 20 years experience in jujutsu

I've busted up my hands and if I'm fighting in a violent situation I'm 100% sure it wound go unnoticed. Eye gouging and throat punches I would agree very effective because they cause involuntary responses. I think the most important thing in any self defense training is mental toughness and awareness which takes time blood sweat and hard work over time

Personally I would not have fell on my back and I would have tried to shrimp escape if he took side control. Biting is okay but she could have went for an underhook and arm triangle.

I must admit she is beautiful and as ugly as her partner is - it appears that he would almost have to put a woman in that postion to "GET A KISS" - LOL // actually he could find a blind woman to "KISS" - So I am just joking around - HOPE No SJWs out there get up set with my comment- I only hope that the Training Course in put onto DVD - Up stairs is a work out room with Big Screen that I could use to Watch and Train.
