Hello from Liquid Blue Cabarete!
Charles Osterlund here and I hope you enjoyed this quick tips and tricks video with the jibing transition.
This was a created because lots of other rides have been asking about this specifically as it is naturally one of the next moves you want to learn after you get foiling either direction.
The video covers a good range of exercises both on land and on water with some theory to help you get started. I would always recommend checking out further videos on the channel as well others channels to get a solid theoretical foundation before practicing especially if by yourself. We always recommend if you have the chance to take lessons to do so as your learning curve will still be steep though it will be quicker and safer.
Remember that water time and practice play a key role when developing and refining your skills. All water sports are challenging one way or another so do not be discouraged as everyone progresses at their own rate.
I want to give a shout out to Dominican Republic as it is an amazing country to explore and the North Coast is the best spot for all of you willing to wind foil, surf, or kitesurf. We are based in Cabarete which is one of the most complete destinations for vacationing and water sports.
