Күн бұрынThe First death count did really well and you guys wanted a sequel on arc 2! So here it is! Wings of Fire Deaths Part 2 Arc 2! I used the list below to help with the death count.
I have been using Kirby music in both videos now and it works great for this topic apparently!

For each one of the dead Icewings in the caves, Foeslayer was killed by an Icewing. Plus the 40 times she was killed by Queen Diamond.

It would be bad to count that because she's still alive since she gets frozen after getting killed

No she’s literally dead in the ice her mind literally stops working she dies there and then she’s truly revived when the ice melts and she needs to fight again

I believe her deaths do count as in a quote from Winter Turning when Foeslayer is talking to Winter and Hailstorm, she states: "You stab me, I die painfully, and then I go back to being frozen until someone else wakes me up again (Sutherland, 281)". This implies that she dies and is revived before being frozen. This would mean her deaths do count towards the total as the book explicitly states that she dies. Also Hailstorm kills Foeslayer so an extra death for her. -Sutherland, Tui T. Winter Turning. Paperback ed., Scholastic Inc., 2016.

@@Inimazade you do realize that I also mentioned that her death would also be counted by how many times queen diamond killed her right and on top of that the amount of ices that kill her and those who left the trail alive

@@Inimazade It is also possible that the enchantment places Foeslayer in stasis the moment before she would die, and she simply assumed 'immense pain followed by loss of consciousness' equated to death. It's not like she had any regular death experiences to use for comparison. Saying Foeslayer was revived would contradict the assertion that animus magic can't bring back the dead, though this has never been experimentally verified in story.

The death that angered me most was carnelian. How are you gonna introduce a new skywing only to kill them off halfway through?

But seriously I can’t be the only one who thinks it’s outright hilarious that two red female SkyWings with short tempers and a love of combat alongside LOADS of potential for character development (Kestrel and Carnelian), get killed off and basically forgotten in the first book they appear in as well as the first of a new arc. It’s just way too ridiculously inconvenient!

Darkstalker also killed a bunch of icewings during the battle of Jade Mountain. Also, a crap tonne of icewings died in the battle

Also if we're counting deaths in flashbacks peril also killed the 5 skywing eggs due to hatch on the brightest night

I love how it goes from 3, 5, 6, the shoots up to 31 then 99. Best part was definitely where all the 98 ice wings were counted

And Kinkajou definitely killed Darkstalker. I mean, how else to describe the act? That a new completely different dragon was created instead does not change the matter. (There is a subtle difference in cases like Hailstorm where the original dragon can still be restored by magic. But Kinkajou murders and kills Darkstalker.)

Awesome, just one note, there were a total of 9 female eggs killed by the statue I think? It might be more, but I think that's a closer number.
