If they had took the children who came to their cottage, they would have won the movie. But Dani basically saves all those kids, due to making that insult which made winifred want to specifically go after her and leave the others alone. Dani is the hero of this movie.

True. But Mary and Sarah did have some good ideas. Like Mary suggesting a Calming Circle. Or Sarah remembering Dead Man's Toes. Also, in the scene here it's true. Winifred let here pride get the best of her, as she does throughout the entire movie. They should/could have given the potion to Ice or Jay or one of the hypnotized children. After draining their lifeforce they would have ensured that they don't turn to dust at sunup. That also would have given them time to brew more potion and suck the lifeforce out of everyone else. Then they could have launched a surprise attack on the group in the cemetery after dawn when the group believed that the witches had turned to dust.

Winnie likes to talk a big game, but the whole time she`s trying to force feed Dani the poison she`s distracted enough to keep looking over at Max, like she`s waiting for him to make a move. So clearly she was more threatened by him then she let on. And the dude comment is one of the funniest lines in the whole movie XD

Even though Dani just got to Salem, she picked up the town’s history very quickly. Dani knows all about the Sanderson sisters, what they’ve done, and what they used on children. That is why Dani was able to fight off from drinking the potion, at least, long enough for her brother Max and Allison to show up and save her and Thackery Binx as well.

The key to their curse was getting ALL the children. Their spell would not have worked because Max Allison and Dani foiled them. They would have not taken the potion. The deal was to take ALL the children of Salem. But Winifred decided if I die so is Dani, but she will be first.

I love this movie for my childhood. I remember I watched this movie before next few days we went to trick or treat on Halloween every year when I was kid. Hocus Pocus is the best Halloween movie ever! I miss trick or treat and childhood. Now I’m adult sucks because there’s nothing Halloween for me 😔 I wish I’m young kid forever. I love Halloween
