I know it’s been 7 years but how was your experience with a Mercedes Winnebago? My fiancé and I are about to get this model in a few months.

@@LowenKoniig we just took it to Universal Studios a couple days ago and it is as new today as it was when we got it brand new. The only issue we had was resolving the warranty issues in the beginning. You only have one year but you don’t want it sitting at the shop waiting for months and months to get attended to. so we went ahead and used it right away ignoring some of the tiny things that needed to be addressed and waited until about two months before the warranty expired to get those things resolved so that we weren’t wasting the time we had planned to travel. They had it for about six months. We also found that if you want warranty work done you’re better off getting it done by an individual who can come to your house or to where your RV is parked instead of using the dealership. Because those guys will come and do the work and leave your RV with you and they’ll do a lot better work. The RV dealership will keep your new RV on their lot for the purpose of showing it to other people so they don’t have to make payments on one that they’re showing perspective buyers. This happened to us. We could tell they were using it for that purpose based on the traffic on the floor. Don’t trust the RV dealers but otherwise this RV is amazing.

I have towed a car only once , a Mini Cooper and the mileage was around 12.5 but that was on a 300 mile trip have not made a longer journey yet with car behind.

Based on the sticker Winnebago put on the View @7:13 the weight of a full load of water is not included in the CCC of 1256 (or 1222 based on the weight they gave you). I'm not saying that they are wrong, but the info you were given over the phone is counter to everything we've seen so we'd suggest double checking what they told you.

Yeah...and after we crossed 25k, we made a new "stretch" goal of 50k by the end of this year (we thought 35k would be doable). Just hit 42k so we may need another goal! lol

We're the Russos ok...lets do this...I now predict 100K subs by Xmas of 2018! I think that's doable right? And then YT will have to give you that "SILVER PLAY BUTTON" 👍🍻🏆

+GnatMan Allin How heavy is the trailer? The tow rating is 5k lbs and I drove a similar RV and that little diesel was pretty impressive. You're so very welcome and if there is anything else you want us to check out, let us know.

I'll do a little more research Joe,but even at 4500-4800Lbs,I'm afraid the Hills,and Mts where I really want to travel are going to be a challenge. I know I'll have to much weight onboard too.Maybe I'll just build another "Skoolie",and hit the Phish Concerts again.LOL,,I don't know,every time I think I have my next unit narrowed down,I come up with something else I want to do with it. I guess I'm going to have to design a very modular Base unit,that is suitable for a plethora of situations.Movable storage,overhead forward sleeping,sunroof,solar,composting toilet,or incinaret incinelet(?)
