March 19th, 2021 Stage IIIA Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (Non-Smoking)
February 2022 Stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (spreading to Brain, and other parts of lung and lymph nodes)
Gene Mutation EGFR with Exon 20 Insertion
TREATMENTS: Received or currently Receiving
2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Chemotherapy
10 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
6 with Carboplatin, 4 without
Targeted Brain Radiation (Completed)
Most Recent Treatment plan, prior to passing:
Whole Brain and Spine Proton Therapy (Radiation) 13 sessions
Clinical Trial Medication NOLA
The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my
family.

You are right because when I watched Jenny's Funeral Service and they showed a lot of slides when Jenny was a little girl around Winnie's age, she did look a lot like her. I thought that the little girl with the two pigtails in DisneyLand when Winnie and I realized that it was Jenny as a little girl.

I am a 70 year old little girl. My Daddy died when I was 15 very unexpectedly and he was out of town at the time. That happened January 26, 1969. He was 56 and I was 15 and had yet to have those special days with him. My mom was a very very special lady and she carried our family through that hard time and many others and a lot of happy ones. I was the 4th of 5 siblings. My mother lived a very long and happy life and I was thankful she did....Kyle you are doing a great job with the kiddos. Jen would be very proud. You take care of yourself ...God Bless you guys

Kyle, Jenny tragically died far too young - but she got a treasure in her short life - YOU. I am thinking here how broken hearted she must have been knowing she would miss out on all these little life events with you, Ellis and Winnie - but just knowing that YOU would be the one she was leaving behind to care for her babies must have been such a huge comfort and source of joy in a tragic time. She knew that her babies would be safe, nurtured and greatly loved by their wonderful Dad. She was so right.

Kyle I don't know where to start, you are an amazing father and you made an amazing special day for Winnie and you. I couldn't help but cry because Jenny wasn't there for this in person but as we all know Jenny is there in spirit and always will be. Not all fathers know how to treat their daughters as special as you do and I hope that this teaches fathers how to be special to their daughters. You are an amazing father and always go above and beyond. So sweet that you made your sons Day when he felt left out by getting him a special toy. I know Jenny is so proud of you. Keep being the amazing father you are. Find a way to share the same day long adventure with Ellis also constantly remarking how you and Jenny are so proud of him for being brave enough to talk about his love for his Mama, sister, Dad and family. See if you can get him to feel her presence with a warm joy that being with her would remind him of past times with Mom. Doing the things you all used to do together. Feeling that by remembering might just give him more tools to help him overcome his sadness that his mom has been physically elevated to spirit. Love your sweet self and babies. Hang in there. Easy does it.

Hooray for Winnie! Sitting up there so brave, like her Mama 🥰My dad took me to get my ears pierced for my 9th birthday. I'd been begging for a long time. That was 42 years ago. He's been gone nearly 15 years now and that train ride to Santa Barbara to get my ears pierced is still one of the very best memories of my entire childhood. You're a stellar dad, Kyle!

Winnie is the cutest! ❤ Great job dad! Growing up I was closer to my father than my mother. He took me to get my first bra, ears pierced, etc. He walked me to bed until I moved out at 18. I did everything with my dad. He is now 88 years old… I love my dad forever! ❤

Having followed Jenny even before her illness, her every hour was her finest, even the hardest, normally “soul killing” hours! So when seeing her sweet Winnie set her shoulders, chin, and eyes squarely ahead as she welcomed the pain of the unknown was just like another of Jenny’s finest moments! 🤩🙏🏻🥰 Jenny lives on, how beautiful and reassuring!! Thank you Kyle, words fail me!!! ❤ Ellis is a big boy and so handsome and quietly 🥰 loving! I wish he could avoid the “little man” thoughts he is surely having 😢. He needs lots of hugging and affection, reassurance that his life will continue to unfold with so many happy days and years!! ❤ God bless this young family whom we are all in love with, proud of, and grateful for 🙏🏻😍❣️❣️❣️❣️

Winnie is SUPER adorable showing off her new earrings 😊 She is such a BIG girl to not cry or show pain during her ear piercing. I didn't get my ears pierced until I was 13 and I remember the pain 😂 She is so brave, I don't doubt mommy was there the entire time comforting her too. Great job dad!

I brought my daughter to her pediatrician for this. Like Kyle, I thought it would be more sterile. Unfortunately, she developed a bad infection and needed antibiotics. I wish I had gone to Claire's.

When I was 16, my mom took me to our family doctor to get mine pierced. I had to pay for it, but she said I had to have a doctor do it. That was 52 years ago, and I am grateful she insisted. ❤😊

My dad took me to get mine pierced when i was 9; mom thought i was too young :) He was there for all of my scary trips to urgent care. And I showed my dad when i first (badly) shaved my legs lol Sometimes daddies are the ones we need

My mom and I got our ears pierces together when I turned 12. We practiced spinning them the first month. It took her over a year to remove them without my help. A special memory. Glad you did something special for Winnie. Different with you two but similarly touching and kindhearted.

I really admire how you are keeping Jenny's promises for the children. They probably have no recollection of a time without cancer. Now, they are learning a new normal. Having a dad who is so in tune with their needs is a special blessing. Ellis will worry about losing you, just as he lost his mom. By constantly being there, and having fun again, he is young enough to adapt in time. Kyle, you are the father every child deserves.

Wow Kyle! This was awesome! Jenny was so lucky to have had you for her husband. I know she passed with peace in her heart to at least know that her kids would be well taken care of. Know that you gave her that. And you gave Winnie a wonderful father daughter day. That will stay with her always! Congratulations! I know things are still hard for you, but you’re facing it head on.

It looks like your family unit is rounding out. You three are gorgeous, but I see Jenny, too, in your children’s faces. Your little son is a rock, as you’ve stated before, to remain calm through his sister’s celebration time. You are thoughtful and fair and smart. You reminded me that my dad took me to a physician to get my ears pierced 52 years ago! Time flies. Quicker than a flash they will be grabbing their car keys and head out to begin their destinies and make their way through the world, just like you and Jenny did. Then you’ll get to be a grandfather and begin celebrating life with babies again. It’s a spicy ride.

Winnie is such a little Jenny,the way she shrugs her shoulders and that grin...man...adorable!!!!You can see in her face how she is changing and growing up, what a perfect time for the earrings. Its a huge deal, I remember it well and for you to aknowledge that Kyle, is extraordinary!! What a day, earrings,clothes, flowers, It couldn't have been more perfect. I had tears the whole time, just because I could see how happy Winnie was.She will treasure this day and always remember it and you with the fondest memories❤

I don’t usually comment, but Winnie is adorable. Getting her ears pierced, is such a big event for a little lady. She was so brave and strong. But Kyle, what a special dadda you are. Such a sweet day for Winnie! I lost my Mom at 30 years old and I wish she was here for every special day I experience still too, so sorry she had to lose her Mommy so young. Jenny was an amazing Mom for sure!

I love that you did this video. The first thing I thought was Jenny should be here too, but you kept her there for you and Winnie through the whole process.
