i love the mental image of this movie playing in a practically empty theater while charlie is rapidly jotting down notes

The real crime is that if they really wanted to go for a single line of dialogue it absolutely should have been Pooh saying "Oh bother" after getting hit by the truck.

Wait, so this movie WASN'T supposed to be about some psychos wearing Winnie the Pooh character costumes? That's literally the vibe I got from the trailers.

Not only did they save money but not hiring extra voice actors, they saved by not hiring a scriptwriter either.

"There's something wrong with Piglet, he killed my wife!" Incredible. Iconic

The scariest part about this film is that it made Charlie call Winnie the Pooh "Winnie" for short, instead of "Pooh".

As a movie theater employee, We only had the movie for one day at our theater. We had a complaint about it being basically like gore p*rn

There's always going to be shock-value crap that takes advantage of the novelty that a story has become public domain, but once we work through this juvenile phase, I look forward to a plethora of authors offering creative reinterpretations of Winnie the Pooh in film, books, shows, etc. You know, people who will actually care about properly representing the source material.

It feels like Charlie is explaining a dream he had and not a movie he watched

Imagine your first acting credit being a Pooh Bear slasher film.

My sister of 12 decided to watch this herself. I didn't hear her scream ONCE. What tops this off is the fact that my sister is a total scaredy-cat, even a spider as large as a literal dust particle could make her scream.

I want to watch this movie now but honestly Charlie did such an amazing job at describing all the important moments that I was able to visualize them almost perfectly.

Missed opportunity to not have Pooh's final killing one liner be "Oh, bother."

I've NEVER heard of a man becoming so offended he starts taking notes to document his anger. It's poetic really.

“something’s wrong with piglet he killed my wife” I fucking lost it at this point in the movie

Keep in mind that while the characters from the books are public domain, the Disney verisons we all know and love are still under copyright.

The entire audience laughed in unison every time something "scary" happened

This movie is the equivalent of playing with an action figure when you were a child and making it evil by bashing it into other action figures

I’m shocked that no one looked into the lore when Pooh takes deadly karate lessons while also learning the art of controlling bees

You know what would've been an actual GOOD motive for Winnie and Piglet? Let's say after Christopher Robin leaves for college, an extreme incident takes place that kills everyone in Pooh's friend group, EXCEPT for Pooh and Piglet. It could be a wild pack of rabid wolves that are hungry for blood, or perhaps a hunter who's been watching Pooh and friends for a while now and wants to collect their heads or something like that. I don't know, just some inciting incident. Anyways, Pooh and Piglet are overcome with extreme amounts of grief, guilt, and sorrow that they were the only ones who got out alive, and, looking for someone to blame, blame Christopher Robin for leaving them and not being there to defend/protect them.
