In G1, why did you bestow the necrobloom instead of the flier? Making a 3-3 flier seems better than buffing your legend they’re already tempted to kill which already has infinite toughness.

45:45 according to scryfall, yes necrobloom is the only dredge card on arena!

The good (?) news is now that Dredge has been implemented they should be able to bring more relatively easily.

The flier should have gotten in 3 turns in a row in game 1 but didnt. The game tempo at that point was so much in your favor that trading 1 damage for 2 favors you, due to you having the murder available if they equip the dreadmask onto their 2/1. Probably the opponent would have needed to trade with it actually.

I would have played the 2nd necrobloom over a 2nd sentry. I would have liked to have seen it reliably every match.

Does he not build the deck and rely on untapped for automated building? Half the fun of these is seeing the player think through their pool choices since pools are often pretty bad and mixed bags, would like to see him trying different decks from the pools (or maybe the video just cut out and normally he does build the deck live from sealed pools) anyway great content keep it up!!

The maths is pretty simple: assuming everyone is of equal talent, out of 64 players, 1 will emerge with 6-0 after 6 rounds. Of the rest, two are then 5-1 and one of them will end at 6-1. So you got a 1/32 chance of winning a box. So you'll win a box about 1 times out of 32. At 25$ per entry, that's, on average, a 400$ box.

I hate to be that guy, but your math is wrong. This is a Pascal’s Triangle question, where each number in the relevant row can give us the number of wins. If we go to the sixth row, we’ll see that after six matches, if everyone has a 50% chance of winning, there will be one 6-0 player (as you said) and six 5-1 players, meaning four players in total get six wins before two losses (one 6-0 player and three 6-1 players, since three of the six 5-1 players win). So, 4/64 players will win a box, putting your chances at 1/16, which then average out to your stated $400 a box.

I agree with the math but not everyone is of equal talent What do you think Jim's chances of winning are? A pro player only needs to win 1 out of 10 to break even. Do you think players like him win more than 1 out of 10. I do but not sure.
