Thanks for the great playthrough video. I just played my first solo game last night. I used the following -School of Bear Witcher -Unique starting deck card (11 card starting deck) -Advanced Action Cards -bombs -mutagens -lost mount I won in 10 turns but had some bad luck with the level 2 monster decreasing my defense with an attack which was my random stat trophy. It would have been at least one turn faster had I not needed to regain that lost stat before meditating. For dice poker solo my interpretation was you pay the coin to the bank just to play then gain back ONLY what the chart says. So you would lose your coin with only a pair and gain nothing for example.

Ethan you did a great job! One thing that might help in the future is you get to raise you shield level back to defense level after every fight and at 44:15 my man..on your reroll you got four of a kind (4 two's) so you would have gotten even more money from that poker turn. And yes you get the 2 coins plus your coin back. Anyway awesome job in front of the camera!

Wait a minute, isn't "Gain a Trail" = gain a trail token itself (the facedown location token), not a Trail Quest(which is faceup location token with a coin)?

Hi, thanks for the playthrough! One thing that I guess you missed is that, in the solo mode, you trash the rightmost action card in the market, if you didn't pick it yourself on Phase III.

I'd like to see more of this kind of gameplay from you. It's clear to follow and more realistic gameplay. The other vids seem to get absurd combos all the time. Also I still have to wait a long time for my copy to arrive so I can survive this way 😅

Sorry, but I think that you have made a mistake on the action card setup - how you have a 2-value card on the rightmost place costing -1 ! According to the set-up rules on Action Card Deck: Shuffle all Action Cards and place them facedown to form the Action Deck. Next, create the Action Cards Pool: 1. Reveal Action Cards until 3 “0-cost” cards are revealed (card cost is depicted in the bottom right corner of the card); place these 3 cards on the 3 rightmost slots on the Game Board in a random order and face up.

Great video! Couple of rules mistakes here and there, but mostly to being distracted. One thing I do want to mention, IIRC there is a rule that the first 3 cards on the card track should be 0 cost, so you couldn't have bought a 2 card at a discount :)

One thing at just over 8 minutes in, when an exploration or event card you have tells you to gain a trail token is not a trail quest. Trail quests are the 2 locations on the board where you pick from the pile reveal location and add a coin. Gain a trail token is just face down on your board, and you will go first against that monster.

I dont know if i am doing something wrong but in solo i won in 9 at my second game. Now I put the limit at 10. If i dont win in 10 turn i assume that i lost

Silly question, but why is your witcher all red? Did you decide to paint it all red? I got the shaded but i thought even the normal plastic ones were grey?

Why are you playing with regular dice and not the cool dice the game gives you? Also did you buy those card covers or did they come with a higher pledge on the kickstarter campaign?
