The most important aspect of the harmonic structure of a song is the movement from unstable chords that create tension by acting as roads, building tension that wants to be resolved to stable chords.
In this video, I show you how paying attention to the harmonic movement, direction and energy of a song transforms your solos into beautiful music. Make your jazz improvisation very melodic, rather than just playing ascending and descending arpeggios all the time. You will learn to use short and and well-defined musical sentences in your improvisation to creater beautiful solos.
Learn to implement this extremely useful strategy over All of Me and then apply it to any song.

You're an excellent teacher. In less than 10 minutes you've teached me more about music theory than I've learnt in 50 yrs. I'm an ear trained pro musician. With a few simple educational tricks you connect ear trained achieved pieces of "knowledge" and turn them into comprehensible structures that open doors to further knowledge. You boost the lust to learn more. Love it!
