Kinew has done an absolutely fantastic job at giving a deeper insight to what these guys are really like and where they are right now. I really respect how he didn't get too judgmental or biased. He showed both sides of the coin and the realities that many aboriginal people go through in today's western dominated structure. Koodos.

@CrazyMunky848 жыл бұрын
Marion Paul I've been to Prince George. The Generator is a good place to get in a brawl that's for sure. It is pretty grungy in PG. That being said it also is nowhere near to Compton in terms of violence. I heard Grand Prairie is pretty bad. Never witnessed it there first hand though so I can't say for certain. From what I've heard Grand Prairie is pretty grimmy though.
@CrazyMunky848 жыл бұрын
Augustao Harold Boss You're an idiot. Yes people get shot murdered in Winnipeg. Technically for the past several years though Thunder Bay and Edmonton have been more violent. None of them compare to the violence you see in US cities though.

I don't live in the North End but I do go to a vocational high school in the North End and I quite like it, it's a laid back, small population school and it's just right. I mean not everyone is in gangs or is interested, not everyone is lacking in school. We're all assorted bunch, the whole lot of us are trying.

Residential schools really caused all of this unfortunate shit surrounding aboriginals in Canada. Kids were forced in to catholic-run boarding schools to “get rid of the savage in them.” Within a generation or two, many aboriginals were lost and had no idea how to take care of them self or how to take care of an entire family.

Kids need a place to go other then the streets, Winnipeg Police have a hard job keeping youth safe in the north end. Brooklyn (RIP)can say whatever he wants but the fact is there is some bad stuff in the north end and the kids are the ones that suffer. Congrats to WM for breaking out the north end needs change.

the problem with almost every trouble teen is they look to some goal or some people to pull them from darkness. no one, or no thing will save you from your negative troubled past, the only way to progress to change yourself and the things you do, regardless if that means you wont be the next sports star or rapper. you have to be positive even if you live a regular life, a mediocre life that entails happiness. accept yourself and respect everything, change your image and your values, TRUTH.

My parents didn't have alot of money either but that doesn't mean I stole cars and sold drugs. When the hell can we finally hold people accountable for their own actions? "John C grew up with a mother that didn't know how to parent him" great but when the hell are people held accountable for what they do instead of blaming their grand parents and great grandparents. And if you don't look and act like a drug dealer cops won't think that your a drug dealer ffs
