What else would you expect when warm weather strikes in the middle of January? Leaving work early was the only option!
This day was such a blessing, and it was great to get back out on the 300. I cannot wait for 2024 riding season... and if you made it to the description...comment below what you think my "secret" might be!

"I'm enjoying myself, but not relaxing." Probably one of my more favorite reasons to ride motorcycles, you're engaged mentally and physically. Whenever I drive a car I either "relax" and am basically a mental drone just going through the motion, or I'm focused due to the speed I'm going. ... on that note, it's worth mentioning that I haven't had a speeding ticket since I've owned a motorcycle.

Loved the support for Brian636, he is actually one of the first moto vloggers that I started watching because I thought I wanted to get a sport bike. Then I decided I wanted a cruiser/Rebel and found Burch's channel and inherently started watching yours as well because my fiance and I are wanting to get matching Rebel's and I wanted to find a good woman based moto vlog channel that she could watch and yours fit the bill perfectly. Glad to know that some of my favorite vloggers follow each other. Can't wait to be part of the community!

Never let cars behind push you to ride faster. Different bikes feel a lot different than different cars. I've been riding for over 2 decades now and I'm sure cars were upset with me until I got comfortable on my new bike. Probably still do if I'm on a road I don't know well. 😂

I’ll always leave those things in my videos, even like today where that car pulled out but I was moving too fast- I could’ve cut it out but it could teach someone a lesson so I’ll leave it in! Going out for a ride is great stress relief. Good to see you out and about on that beautiful winter's day. (Remember all that salt and sand is getting on the bike too.) It's quite a tease to be able to take the bike out for one day and then know you have to put it away for another month or so. Enjoy yourself.

The one time I experienced "scary slippy tires" was when I got a new tire, I didn't realize that the tires can come with a coating on the rubber, it keeps the rubber from drying out in the warehouse.. it was.. very slippery, I went down in the road in front of the shop.. after that experience I always order the tires to my home and wash them first. I am comfortable with sliding on turns in the rain but the new tire was so slick, I was barely leaning at all and the bike slid out. so now I am very wary of new tires.

you might find that the original stock tires that the bikes come with are usually not so great.. I swear by Michelin on the bikes.. it's good to feel sure and in time you also can learn how to ride with the tire sliding a little bit and still enjoy it. I ride slightly different when it's slippery out to allow the tires to slide if they must 😁😇

I can’t think of the name of it but it’s a good Mic only under certain speeds; after like 50+ it will start to peak and pop! Check out Life Of Burch’s video on his set up- he has a great mic recommendation!

Did you get the SCL 500 or are you going to get one of those new Triumph 400s? I think those new 400s are going to be a huge success and really popular. If I was starting riding this year rather than 2 years ago I totally would have gotten a Scrambler 400x. Hope you are able to enjoy the early spring whatever you are riding and I am looking forward to more content.

So I was commuting/faulting my 300 about 70-80% of the week during riding season. If I’m able to find a deal on a 500 I would daily a lot more % of the time since I could jump on the highway more comfortably. I currently don’t have funds for any winter gear and it’s too dark in the mornings to ride but it’s definitely a future goal!!

@@KomotoVlogs That’s awesome! 70-80% is still a ton of riding. Winter is just brutal. Heated grips help, but the cold dark gets miserable. Keep it fun! Winter commuting can ruin it. 🥶🥶

It’s the kemimoto handle bar bag! I love it, it’s soft inside so good for sunglasses/safety or phone and no risk of scratching. It does however, rattle the zippers and I plan to get zipper covers just so i stop thinking my bike is falling apart every time I hear it😂🤘🏻
