At 4:40 It looks like you got a wind knot, usually happens when the line is slack when you start to reel and the reel doesn't lay the line down right. Helps to make sure the bail is closed and the line is straightened out a bit before you reel, I also find wind knots alot more common when using monofilament, that's why I usually run braided line on my casting setups.

Close the bale when your lure/bait hits the water. It will help prevent wind knots. Reeling to close the bale with often lead to wind knots.

4:42 those are wind knots and happen when the line tangles when casting or retrieving, pay extra attention to make sure your line is clear of knots and the line is wound on tightly and neatly.

Fish organs aren't as palatable as land animals; a lot of times, only the stomach is worth trying. If you know the Japanese KZfaq channel "Masaru" he knows which species have tasty organs
@theotheleo6830
@theotheleo6830 Жыл бұрын
@@nezantra I've watched that channel, but he focuses mainly on ocean fish. However, my suggestion to eat the organs isn't because they're tasty, but to have something unusual to try. Perhaps he'll find them to be bad, good, or meh, but it's worth a try.

Hi Mark! Do you ever bleed your fish? It gives the meat a more mild taste. You can do this by snipping the gills. This also humanely kills the fish more quickly.

I think you got line twist. To reduce that problem is simple; Just downsize your line. For bass, you can get away with 10lbs line. For small to medium size catfish, 15lb line will do.

The reason that's happening to your reel is there's too much line or when you put the line on there wasn't enough tension applied to it. This happened to me before I learned it.
