How's ur Diabetes, especially during ur European trips? U know ur my kind of kid! Appreciate ur good sence!!! My kid is a Street Person living in a tent on banks of the Bow River in downtown Calgary suffering with Prostate Cancer. Raised a Christian. Educated as Ambulance Driver and a Marketing Degree. I did all I could for him.

Hi guys, I ordered the headlamp from Clamore and was blown away at the quality and design. I charged it up and took it outside after dark and this thing is so bright! Easy to operate and long lasting. I was pleasantly suprised to see the Epic family on the box and a neat little pamphlet inside outlining your journey. If you're in the market for a headlamp, consider the Epic Family one from Claymore. Very sturdy and rugged. I am always suspect of endorsed products but this headlamp is legit! It also has multiple configurations other than just a headlamp. Thank you!

Yes!!!, Caroline is back nararating parts of the videos. Love her soothing voice. She should make her on stories or read stories that she enjoys and narrate them. By the way I grew up in Ohio but I now live on Whidbey Island in Washington State. Love the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. Love the cabin I could live in a place like this for sure.

Seeing Lando sleeping by the fire brought back very pleasant memories of the several GSP's that have been part of my life at different times, such amazing dogs. Such wonderful views of the fall colors. Having lived in central Minnesota in a house which we heated with wood for many years, we would typically burn around 9-10 cords of wood a year. I hope that there is a lot more wood that's off camera.

I love that you are preparing for a future winter stay. I use a one piece flotation suit for when I’m on the ice. Consider getting yourself cleats for your boots as there is often times when walking on the ice there isn’t any snow in spots. Also if you don’t have one already get yourself a 6 person portable pop up fish hut with a Buddy propane heater. Love your videos

You know in Norway there's a saying. Der er ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlige klær.... translated , there is no bad weather , just bad clothing ,, its an investment for sure when your in the wilderness . and its why our grandmothers knit woolen jumpers and socks so well ,, but serves you well when its -25c in the boreal forest so far north... love it guys being prepared is all you need to do keep that storage place well insulated don't want the batteries to freeze will kill there cycle and panels free from snow... enjoy the beauty of winter as we do here ....I love Canada it's much like here but different what a beauty place you have there island living wow would much like one day to go back to that part of the world again have it good guys loving life together so good !!!!

We call those sleds Otter sleds. On the big one you should have a harness for towing behind your snomobiles. Your snomo's should have a hitch.

wow I just find you Finally I discover how is a family life in cold North America in a family who loves nature like us Family values ar the same But the wild is so exotic to us I imagine that, probabily our life, seems the same: exotic to you 3 years ago we go to the east coast of USA, New Hampshire, Maine and we find canadian people in Bar Harbor and Acadia park Love canadian people Thank you to let us know how is a canadian family in the canadian wild We live at Porto Alegre Brazil and, in our way, we do some 4X4 journeys in our wilderness Love nature, water stream and falls here the same your family i think and I not sure But if some time you desire do know the south half of planet let us know

Just a thought, instead of buying a snowmobile how about getting an Argo? It has more space for the whole family and can float! You won' t have to worry about breaking in especially during the times when the ice will not be strong enough...in early winter and late spring...and you can use it year round!

Let me know if you need more hardwood next year. Our lot is not far in the other direction and I have a ton of hardwood on the ground (2 years drying) that just needs to be bucked and split.

Watching that reminds me that I need to get out to our wood pile and start splitting up the rest of the big rounds we still have from last year plus we took down part of a huge cherry tree last year and I need to turn that into burnable sizes as well, yikes !
