My life is very hard too (disability, isolation etc) but nothing gets me more excited than a new Jonna because it reminds me how to exist in a much better mindset. I know things must be so hard for you, but you have moments like these to remind you of the beauty of life, and other people who struggle too who can still share this with you and find relief together. All I can say is find time to unplug, slow down and train yourself to appreciate simplicity. Read, meditate, paint, walk in nature, share a hot chocolate with someone you care about. Things do get better if we change a tiny bit of ourselves each day. We've never met and I'm all the way over in western Canada, but I still care about your happiness.

I totally get the feelings you have about Nanook. I lost my dog in September this year. His liver stopped working and it was a hard year because I actually saw the first signs at the beginning of this year. We tried to fight it but lost the battle unfortunately. Throughout the time people often told me that I sometimes talk sbout my Dog as if he would die. But I saw the signs, sometimes you feel it in your guts. I love my dog. He was my savior. If he wouldnt entered my life 8 years ago I would be living by now anymore. So yes you are totally right... the harder you love, the more it hurts. Hopefully Nanook will see many many beautiful snowy and sunny days. But no matter what, he will always be with you💚🫶

i had to pause at 8:37 to cry because I lost my dog on the 20th of november 2023. She was 13 years old . Your point about "the more you love, the more pain, but its beautiful thing as its part of being human" all I can do is look at my picture of my dog that I have, sitting in front of me and also be grateful for the little piece of fluff I had for 13 years. I needed that cry. Thank you

I don’t think non dog owners realize how big of an impact a dog has on your life. When my first dog died I was only 5 but I was still sad for months cause she’s been there since I was born. Now our second dog is almost 12 and it hurts every time I notice that he’s having more trouble with the stairs or that his fur is going grey. But I am so incredibly happy for you. Thank god nanook is doing okay ❤

You make winter look so warm cozy and welcoming. Here i dread it everyday! The greyness is saddening and depressing. We get snow then rain making it hard to enjoy outdoor activities. Skiing and snowmobiling is far and few

I cry every time to speak of nanouk. I have one healthy 4 legged friend as well and although she is much younger it is always good to remember that life is fickle and not take anything for granted. I look forward to your shop opening as I am currently planning a road trip from my house (Oslo) to the shop next summer (no stress if your can’t make it)

Jonna, I wanted to share with you that our dog Oso, who looks very much like Nanook except that he is all black, is quite an old dog also, and 2 years ago he was in a lot of pain also with arthritis in the cold and we didn't think he would live long. But for some reason the last couple years he has done so much better and not seemed to whine or be in pain at all, but to be his old happyself. So there is good hope for many more happy years for Nanoook.😊❤️

Oso, the bear. I've known one Oso here over the years. The Oso I knew was very similar to Nanook (the polar bear). Our dogs are so special to us, it's hard to see them get old.

Animals are such special little beings who live with such joy and spirit. Of course, that's only when they're allowed to be that way. Nanook is so lucky to be with you, as are you to have him. I'm so delighted to see him each time in your videos. Is your cat jealous at all? That light effect was spectacular. I've always felt that winter was the most magical season of all. I think our poor planet is trying to reset itself. I wish it all the best in its efforts. Living in southern Ontario, Canada, we've lost our winter season and for me, that's devastating. Your videos always give me such pleasure, especially the winter ones! Enjoy!

I teared up when I saw how great Nanook is doing. We thought we were going to lose our best friend, Korbin, to heart disease. He's a golden retriever and his happiness reminds me of Nanook a lot. Korbin's meds have saved him and bought us more time with him. Thank you for your beautiful videos. Hugs to you and Nanook

Honestly I think you three live on a different magical beautiful planet than me. It looks so calm and full of love and blessings. Im sending healing white light to Nanook. He is a beautiful soul. As an artist myself, I can totally appreciate all the work and preparation that goes into you capturing the moment of creation....so spectacular. The photo you captured of the pillars of light really touched my soul, reminded me how beautiful this planet really is and that we can all find peace if we just look inside. Thank you so much for this video. Blessing from my home near the equator in the hot tropics to your snowy forests up north!
