Yes, like calling Lagerfeld "Dracula" & saying Galliano "needs a tailor" :-/ He doesn't know what matters or is important or what should be reported on. It's about what they design, not how they themselves look.

I think she's an inspiration to all women who want to take control and make a name for themselves.

Why should she be only an inspiration to women?

I am in no way exaggerating when I say that I actually felt quite emotional when she said "Certainly, very quietly". She has certainly lived up to the highest possible standards of the fashion savant, and has probably exceeded every one of them. Her tenure and legacy in Conde Nast has definitely earned her a place in fashion history. I'm sorry if I seem like I'm giving a eulogy for Wintour. She has certainly changed my view of what I thought about the fashion industry and the people in it, and she has only fueled my deepest passions for the industry.Hope she and grace live longe and continue making glamorous issues of Vogue :)

No one, single person should be that powerful, that they can literally 'make or break' a designer's career. Too much unchecked power is a dangerous thing.

That's exactly what they said about Malcom X. Back to the main point: if she were a man you wouldn't say/feel that.

Its funny how she so tough and cold etc etc yet she has taken great effort to rehabilitate her image. I think most of things about her behavior is true she substantiates with her vague responses to direct questions. The fashion industry is overblown in their perceived influence on the world, women especially. I do think she has been judged unfairly in if she were a man with the same behavior, but I also think she's given as good as she gets.

I'm from Argentina and I'm not obliged to know the journalist's name although I saw him many times, but if he hasn't retired yet, well do it now!! I couldnt catch a word from his tired mouth...

As for Karl, I think journalist is not the most accurate word for describing an editor, but maybe he meant in a way that she has a hell of ability to tell fashion story or a world story through fashion. Either way, fashion is more about showing a side that you want people to see, not the whole thing.

This journalist asks the questions of someone who is not interested and that's why it IS interesting. He comes from another perspective.

Morley's comments on clothes were not funny, uninteresting and showcased a certain lack of elegance. A proper fashion journalist would have analysed Anna's style to detect what she wants people to about her instead.
