I use to live and work in Kuwait about 22-23 years ago and still have Arab friends who live and work there. I just spoke with my Palestinian friend and asked him about the fire, he said 50 people have died, mostly due to smoke inhalation. The building is owned by the same Kuwaiti that employed these workers. They were doing something legal or illegal we don’t know that in the basement of the building and the fire started at night when everyone was asleep. Regardless….it’s tragic when so many people lose their lives, may they all rest in peace.

I live in kuwait and saw everything live from my balcony. The building is NBTC camp owned by Keralite KG Abraham. Most workers were laborers and were sleeping when the mishap happened
