Last night was a blast and definitely what I needed after a rough day. This video is exactly what I needed to prepare to go back to work in a few, refreshed and calm. 💕 I totally think my husband has played a big part in the pink thing, but he eats wax so who cares what he says. 🤣 I’m so glad you’re enjoying your Josephine Wall as much as you are! I know you were determined to do it either way, but it’s so much better when you enjoy the process. 💕

Steph, your comments (and just YOU, in general) brighten my day! I’m glad my soft-rock radio station voice was soothing, especially after the wild ride that was Lindsay’s Live 🤣 I love how you and Matt have made the pink thing a thing, but I love even more that Matt is responsible for a new set of warnings on the PaddyWaxx Etsy shop 😆

I’m so excited for the event!! DIY Moon Shop seems to have their turnaround times back down to 6-8 weeks, so my Alice canvas from them should be here in time! ☺️

Lindsay's live last night was the best ever😂 I think I finally figured out the notifications on IG so I don't keep missing them. You are making great progress on your JW canvas considering the confetti party! I've been working on Scorpio in between Festive Fireplace for the dpadvent. I guess I should post some progress pics but my photography skills are sadly lacking. Thanks for the update on the mulit-placing video. I've been practicing! Patiently (ok, not so patiently 😂) awaiting my first Everlasting tips order. Always enjoy your videos. And yes, audio does sound better!

Hi Kara!! Always enjoy seeing you here, and on IG too 🥰 Ooh, I would love love love to see your progress on Scorpio!! Can I recommend standing on a chair and take a picture of the canvas on the floor? 🤣 No fancy photography skills needed! And yes, Lindsay’s Live was one for the books! Hopefully IG notifications don’t start acting up again, so we don’t miss out on the fun!

With a canvas that confetti crazy I'd definitely need to take a break or I'd feel burnout. But I can imagine how great you'll feel once it is finished.

Oh goodness, yes! I would be so burned out if I didn’t have another canvas going at the same time. I’m excited for the day (whenever it is 🤣) that it’s finished!

Aww, I’m so glad you’re here, Anna! I didn’t know you were from Sweden 😄 And I love that you’re working on a Christmas canvas - that one is lovely, and what a fun way to get in the Christmas spirit early on!

I am so tempted to buy one of hers, but the shipping costs are so high … :( I want it to be my only WIP so i can focus on it lol. Gotta finish everything else first and then that’s my reward.

I am so bummed I didn’t get to talk to you before you kitted up. The way I did mine was putting all the various symbols together. Ie. all Pac-Man, hands and feet, electronics, etc. Thats why it took me so long! Anyway, really enjoyed this video. Keep up the good work. I’ll try and post some of my progress soon. Hugs!

Sorry friend, I’m late catching up on comments and I know we’ve chatted on IG since, but! I still wanted to respond to what you’d shared. I’d initially thought about organizing my drills that way, but it was too much for my brain to try and map out my storage that much, especially since the storage system I was initially using didn’t let me easily swap around drill colors. But after that first section, I knew I had to take the time to figure out something different. Now they’re organized the same way you’re saying yours are! It’s made a huge difference.

So, I’ve decided to come over from IG and actually see you working on this. So new subscriber. I’m taking a little break from my Josephine Wall and started my first DIYmoonshop painting. The glue isn’t the strongest I’ve ever had and some of the drills are different sizes. I ordered in July too. I just received another and have one one the way. I just love their artwork so much, but I think I’ll wait to purchase from them till everything calms down a bit.

Might I suggest you contact Rachel Rae or watch some of her videos where she addresses her problems with rivers and bubbles? She also incorporates binder clips when hanging her larger art pieces. Hope this helps! Remember to enjoy the process😻

Hi Saline! This was a little bit older video, but I really appreciate your suggestions! I was able to work with this canvas to take care of the rivers and bubbles, and hang it flat, and it was much less of a headache to work with. It was definitely a fun process to work on this kit! 💛 Thank you for watching!

I’m going to order one of these, but I am not happy with the double sided adhesive... I just finished my first poured glue DAC canvas and am super hooked. I don’t like many of DACs images, but the quality alone has me and now I want to do all of them. I’ve completed 3 painting’s in total (2 very large double sided adhesive images and 1 poster sized DAC), and now the double sided adhesive is repulsive to me. I had put aside one i was working on to do a DAC image and as soon as I went back I hated every second of it. I’m glad the bead quality is good though, so I’m less apprehensive with purchasing. I can deal with rivers if the beads are good, but this is such a beautiful canvas to skimp on glue

I’m sorry that it took me a bit to respond, Alice! I definitely prefer poured glue to double-sided adhesive, but apparently that’s the only option this company offers for their larger canvases. I’d be so curious to see if DAC licenses more Josephine Wall artwork!

I wasn’t finished, sorry now the glue dots pop out etc. what are you using for your single placer and in your multi placers? Thanks, I even took a few weeks off from diamond painting. Help! Ricki 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎🧡💎🧡💎💙

I just pulled out 2 canvases that I had hanging for a year that have double sided adhesive. I have had very little bubbling.

I’m glad to hear that can make such a big difference, Mindy, thank you! I found a spot to keep this one hanging, and I’m hoping that will do the trick. Did you leave the opaque cover on yours, or did you re-cover it with something else?

Will you still remove the opaque cover and use release papers for your upcoming comparison projects? I’m working on my blank canvas and have left the opaque cover on, just cutting and removing it as I go. I haven’t had a problem with bubbles/rivers so far. ~ Kel

I think I'm going to leave the opaque cover on my current DPD project, since I'm not planning to roll it back up at all. If it seems like it's developing any bubbles or rivers in spite of being hung flat, I may take off the opaque cover and replace it with parchment paper or release paper.

How did you find working on a Josephine Wall painting,are you happy with it? lam getting mine tomarrow lve been watching you and the painting doesn't look very clear is it turning out ok.ldont it want to spend alot of money and it looks pixilated is that the case.lbuy from DACand as you know thay are great. You have said that you stopped working on it and took a brake, did you put it back in its box?lve just herd what you said about parchment paper lhavnt had much luck with that.l think l will leave the covering on and put it into section's after it's been checked thay must use that paper for a reason

Hi Sue! I actually completed this kit a couple months ago. If you're curious to see my post review, it's here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bJh6p7GnyZm0gGw.html When I took a break, I made sure to hang it flat, since it's double-sided adhesive and less forgiving if you roll it back up.

I ordered my diy moonshop in July. I am working with plastic cover. I am having this kit. The adhesive sucks. I will never order again

Oh friend, I’m really sorry you’re having a bad experience with your DIY Moon Shop canvas! I’m hearing more and more from people that are having issues with their canvases recently, and I think we should all be sure reach out to Roanna and let her know, so they can hopefully address it. For the price point, it should be a premium product.

Hi there! Welcome! ☺️ I actually have a light pad and I used it for a bit with this canvas, but it actually made the fainter symbols more difficult to read in this case. Thankfully, I’ve gotten very used to the symbols and it’s going more smoothly ☺️ Thank you, though!
