Wire Wrapping Tutorial - Spring Leaf

I used some old scrap silver wire I had, instead of cutting new!
Tools you need are:
Hammer and bench block
Chain nosed pliers
Round nosed pliers
Wire flush cutters
File
Ruler (if needed)
Materials are:
1 inch Glass leaf (or a shell leaf, if you have one)
sterling silver jump rings
4mm round bead
Scrap sterling wire:
5 inches 26 g
about 2-3 inches 18 or 20g
and about 1/2 inch bead wire

Hi! I discovered your channel yesterday, and OMG I fell in love with your jewellry! So today I tried to make one by myself with stuff I had : copper wire in three different sizes (the biggest is ALMOST copper : it has only a copper layer but the metal underneath is silverish, and I don't know what it is, maybe tin because it's really soft... I let you guess what happened when I applied my pliers on it!) and a iolite gemstone. Also I don't have a torch to make the balls at the end of the wires so the swirls are a bit sharp at the end. I'm pretty satisfied with my work, although it's not as pretty as yours ;) I'd like to buy silver wire to make more jewellry, can you tell me where do you buy yours? Do they deliver in France? Thank you :)

Hello!! Thank you so much! It sounds like you had fun, and experimenting is part of the learning process. I buy most of my silver from Rio Grande Jewelry supply, and they do ship internationally, but it may be cheaper for you to google search online jewelry supply stores in France, or shop local Etsy stores, too. I hope you are able to find a good supplyer for you! Good luck!
