Sorry abit new to this the modem that gonna be the repeater do u need to access the internet or direct cable the modem to laptop only?

So I have a 9500 that I want to use as a wireless repeater. All of your steps work (exact name, pw, changing the local ip to a unique #) until I get to Connectivity>Internet Settings>Edit>Type of Internet Connection. The last option is Bridge. In my case running wires is not an option at this point. Am I missing something obvious?

Worked like charm on my EA7300. Put it into wireless bridge mode, added my wifi info, and a few minutes of flashing lights later I'm good to go. Thanks! I was have a heck of time finding the bridge option.

Are you supposed to disconnect access to the primary router before doing this? When I hooked up the secondary router to configure I could not access it because it said that it did not have a valid IP address

For me it does not work, does my wireless router need to be connected to my modem to configure? The Wireless Repeater option does not appear to me.

Something isn't correct, if you connect the router to your computer via a lan port, why does the status screen after logging into the router shows a internet connection. Did I miss something here?
