Wisbech Town Centre a Video Tour of the Historic Town in Cambridgeshire

Drive through the town centre of the beautiful, historic city of Wisbech, the second largest city in Cambridgeshire.
A great historic market town, just begging to be explored. Ride along with me as I explore this wonderful English countryside town.
Located between Peterborough and Kings Lynn along the A47 and near the A17.

The building at the end of the video is Wisbech Police Station, with the birdge to its side being Freedom Bridge. Had you taken the dual carriageway exit, at the next set of traffic lights; a left-hand turn would have taken you onto Norwich Road. I used to go to school at Nene School (does it still exist?) and Ramnoth School; both off Norwich Road. I used to live in a couple of the avenues (3rd & 4th) off Mount Drive...before we had to move owing to the recession around 1980...

@@BajaKevinRay Thomas Clarkson was instrumental in helping to abolish the slave trade

Thomas Clarkson is also commemorated at the Seven Stars pub in Bristol where he took evidence from sailors about conditions on slave ships.

Seems like a nice town, with a deep slavery of Eastern Europeans working in factories.

No you are wrong, slavery is being in bondage and owned by someone else. The many Eastern European factory workers that I meet every day come here to better themselves and their families. They are free to return home whenever they choose. If you know different get the police to investigate it!
