Күн бұрынThere’s no better way to experience the beautiful north woods of Wisconsin than by taking a scenic train ride with The Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad. This is an updated segment on their current operation in our 30th Anniversary special on PBS.
This family run operation has a variety of trains that they offer. From their famed Bed and Breakfast to their Pizza trains, there is something for everyone here.

We are SO SPOILED to have this in our backyard! Thank you, Greg, Mardell, and Alexander, for your determination, passion, and LOVE of GIVING! It just isn't summer, not hearing the train whistle at the Earl train crossing. ❤ Truly am èxcited for their Steam Engine to arrive!

It is my hope someday Wisconsin Great Northern can reinstall removed track from Trego northward and/or Spooner to Rice Lake, but I am sure the chance of that happening is next to none.

I’ve always wanted to try this. However I’m cripple now in a wheelchair and wondering if the trains are wheelchair friendly.

Apparently, I missed the show when it was broadcasted. If anyone has a link to a local PBS site where it is still available for viewing, I would greatly appreciate it.
