You have a strange profile to be telling me this message but okay my cancer is lust and have now finished masturbating and watching degenerate pornography again at age 21. It's not getting any better. Only difference is that I'm older and I watch apologetics videos and I don't even have a job. Misery I am misery and I love company there's no hope for males like me because all these weird eves that call fhemselves christians say women have it harder but I'm here still rotting in my own little hell hole and who still has the authority to say millions of males aren't tormented by lust? I'm tired my mother bought me one Russian vodka bottle 40% one icelandic alcoholic bottle 40% one french alcoholic bottle 40% and others lower than 15% she bought it because I convinced her I'm a christian saved by grace but I feel like God's abandoned me and rightfully so I feel like I need to drink alcohol until I die nothing not even Jesus Christ can fill my sorrow I don't care I just need something to fill me and everything evil can't do it I got drunk with one of the alcoholic bottles that has 15% my mother found out and she emptied most of the alcohol from many of the bottles Im angry at her because the only reason I got drunk is because of her and my family that I can't God damned fix it I'm gonna kill myself and no one's going to pray for me amen

There’s this girl in Bible study I really like. The first thing I noticed about her was how fun and funny she is. She has a very gentle soul; I can really see the light of Jesus shining through her. We always have pretty good conversations and I’ve never felt a “click” with any other girl the way I feel one with her. She’s 2 inches taller than me. I know height is important for some women, but I’m hoping this is a girl I can attract with my soul. I just genuinely enjoy being around her. May God’s will be done.

Learn about Islam. Listen to this garbage, in Islam. You will get the real answers. A man and a woman, CAN NOT stay together, CAN NOT be friends, CAN NOT be "special friends" as in your video, and you CAN NOT even see her beauty. Can you see the nuns? No. Jews' women? No. It has ways to get married. Your religion is just like as your ignorance. You play songs, make "youtube videos", talk about God. "Your human god loves you", when you do adultery. Even if you torture someone, He does. You don't even know about no love. A lie of a religion with no old testament. You have NOTHING to do with anything.

I have a boyfriend who I want to spend the rest of my life with, he wasn't saved when we first met. Our first meeting was actually when we were really little, but we moved. Then years later we met again, and he wasn't a Christian, but weeks back he gave his heart to the Lord and I'm so proud of him. I cried in service that night when my future mother in law looked at me and mouthed "one day" about his salvation, and I said in a whispered prayer "God I want his salvation now, please" I repeated that prayer a couple more times and people started praying with him and for the first time I heard him pray in repentance to God and cry to the Lord, I'm so glad there's Christians like you who encourage the right relationship!! THIS WAS A PRAISE REPORT lol.

"Just because someone makes your heart flutter, doesn't mean they're good for you" I really needed to hear that thank you. I have a tendency as a young Christian man to fawn over agnostic or even outright ungodly women and it's been hard to guard my heart. On one hand we seem to have a lot and common and get along but when God comes up there's glaring differences. I could blame my living in New England (very secular part of the country) but I know it's my affections towards worldliness thats the issue.

After few days from that God sent a person into my life, we never dated but we both had feelings for each other and I realised why God wanted me to stay single 😂, now I'm no longer with that person .God told me to wait upto his timing and he said that I'm still on the process of preparation. @@BansheeKing22 If I may, I should like to recommend CS Lewis's book "A Giref Observed." It's a short read, and it narrates his personal reflections after mourning the loss of his wife. In it, he discusses his own struggle with feeling a lack of response from God, and how he later came to understand that apparent unresponsiveness differently. It is a sad book, since it is literally about grieving a spouse, but mayhaps it'll be of some encouragement.

@@faithbeyondocd4339 That is my point above. This is nothing but worldly Psychology with "Christian" slapped on it. It is not God's counsel on the matter. Instead of watching these worldly Christian videos, read your Bible and draw near to God in prayer daily, devoting yourself to honoring God with your body. God will never lead you astray if you are drawing near to him (here is James 4.5-9): 5 Or is it your opinion that the Scriptures say irrationally, "With withering and longing the Spirit, who was meant to dwell in us, surrounds us with yearning." 6 However, He gives greater cheerful grace. That is why it says, "God purposely arranges things against the proud ones staring down, but to the lower ones of humility He gives cheerful grace." 7 Arrange yourselves in an orderly manner under God. Moreover, stand against the Devil and he will himself completely run away from you. 8 Squeeze yourselves up as close to God as you can and He will squeeze Himself up as close to you as He can. Purge your hands, which you depend on to grasp through the storm, you who are without an allotment and cleanse your hearts to the point of terrifying, you people with two-faced souls! 9 Bear your piercings and feel deeply and wail! Your laughter must be twisted so it transforms into deep feeling and your cheerfulness into a downward stare. 10Be humbled before the gaze of the Lord and He will lift you up NOTICE THIS: "Squeeze yourselves up as close to God as you can and He will squeeze Himself up as close to you as He can." I really, really like him and sometimes it's hard just staying as casual friends ;-; How does one date in a Christian way? It's extremely hard to pace myself and stay level headed because I feel like I just fall harder for him each time ;-; Please pray God gives me discernment and to guard my heart.

I think if you keep Christ first that helps a TON. Dont let your time with God slip. Distance yourself physically. If you ever end up alone with them make it a public space or have other ppl around you. Don’t let that person be all you think about. Try to keep yourself busy and be productive. Above all be honest with yourself and God.

Having a concern and a desire to do it right is really half the battle!!! So many don't care!!! :/ Just keep praying to God to graciously guide you and keep you from doing anything foolish. I really think tip 3 in this video was so useful (and tips 1 & 2). I am 25 and never dated or been in a relationship, because I have never come across a girl that I have felt a calling from God to get into a relationship with. I do, however, try to be good friends to as many honourable girls as I can. I think being with girls in a group setting is a lot safer because if it's just the two of you alone, it's a lot more likely to slide into something that is damaging, especially if you both feel quite attracted to each other. :/ That's my two shillings anyway!!! :) I pray it's of some help to you!!!

In the language of honor, standing firm in our faith is never a dishonor. Mockers dislike facing that truth, which is why they _try_ to tear it and you down or lessen it's worth. But God set that worth, not man. In dealing with lusts and desires: Until Christ comes again, all Christians must deal with the fact that we are called to live as examples... In a fallen world. We aren't to hide away, so we are going to be around sin and sinners. The problem is not that things are available to lust after. The problem is that temptation comes from our own sinful heart! (James 1:14) We need to stop blaming Satan and recognize it is _our_ sin. But in that is also a great hope and joy: this is not a relentless assault of Satan against us forever until we die (he isn't God, he isn't all powerful and all knowing). This is a desire problem and a feeding problem: When we abide in Christ, we are attracted to Him (the vine). The vine produces good fruit. Eg godly love, joy, patience, long-suffering, hope!!! And it also pushes away the fleshly things in us Rom8:13, col 2:8-11, gal 5:16-17!!! So our walk looks like this: 1.desire God above all things. 2. So we choose to spend time with Him (abide) 3. That pushes the flesh away & changes our desires 4. In the context of abiding and being connected to Him/the vine, then we choose to do the work: good things and *also not feed the flesh* (as it is in direct contention with the Spirit in our life, see gal 5). So in any situation (job, relationship, etc) we can check itself to see if we are abiding or feeding the flesh: "The works of the flesh are evident"... "The fruits of the spirit are..." The flesh gets angry or upset and discontented when it doesn't get it's way. Godly love demonstrates godly joy: But for the joy set before him, Christ endures the cross. Think about that deep joy in the best for the other. So if you check your mind heart state and find, hmm i seen to be getting any and feeling rejected, envious, etc - ask your self what you are wanting in that moment: Are you wanting the flesh? So you _really_ want the fear, anxiety, discontent, etc and consumption/use it produces? (Its fruit) Or do you want God more, and man i can see by the warning signs in my life that I've let something come in between. I chose to want Him more and while i spend more time with Him, I'm going to ask the Holy Spirit to increase my desire for Him even more. When you do that, you stop desiring the substitutions. And it's really easy to turn down something you don't want, especially if you see the rotten fruit hiding behind the surface. (I have no hesitation in turning down a rotted apple or candy coated dog poop. I just have to sometimes remind myself to look at what it really is) Notice how hopeful and easy that purity struggle is compared to trying to fight against things by our own effort? (I've only spent 37 years doing it the hard and unsuccessful way. Apparently I'm slow to learn some things.) Hope that helps and blesses you.

I am fully convinced now that it has to be the Holy Spirit showing me these videos lol. This is the second time I’ve opened up KZfaq to immediately see one of your videos that has ministered to me how to navigate the specific situations I’ve been praying about! This is literally what I’ve been thinking through all day and the second I get home from work and go to browse KZfaq this video popped up! Never seen any of your other videos besides one other a few weeks ago, and have no prior experience with your ministry but I’ve got to say you’ve helped me out a lot! Subbed!

This is not the best of advice IMO. Modern Christianity really falls flat win it comes to dating advice. If you like someone you should. 1. Be confident, and FLIRT with them. Don't be mister, nice guy and think you can when them over with your "niceness", just be honest and show your interest in them. Don't let your fear control you, and just do it. Now in saying this check your sinful nature and only flirt, don't seduce. There is a difference. One, you are giving hints and signs of attraction and trying to figure out if it's mutual. Seduction is going past that. 2. Don't overthink it. This is where I think this video is unhelpful. Overthinking is a terrible thing to do. This is where you crate false versions of who you like by thinking about them too much, and scheme to try to best get yourself into a relationship with them. Overthinking without action shows the lack of faith in God and yourself. You instead want to keep thinking about it so you can get the best possible "strategy" to get them. 3A. Accept rejection and move on. If you haven't continued to overthink, then you are in a much better position to just move on. If she very clearly did not respond to your flirting, or verbal rejected you, who cares. Don't be embarrassed, and understand it wasn't God's will for you. Try again next time. 3B. If she did respond positively ask her on a date, but start out slow. Now that it is clear their is attraction on both sides, you can start to properly discern if the relationship is one you want to pursue. Discerning BEFORE confirming attraction is mutual is putting the cart before the horse. You'll be to prone to overthinking and not proper discernment, but I warn you you have to start slow. They aren't your girlfriend/boyfriend. If you rush you can make the mistake if letting your emotions overtake your discernment.

I dated a girl in high school. She was very beautiful and her personality was lovely in many ways. We were both Christian but we had quite different interpretations of the Bible, which I should’ve seen as a red flag but I didn’t. Also, she tried to stop me from pursuing my future career and it actually worked for awhile. I have no hard feelings against her but I wish I had split up with her before we did. Good advice all around. My personal advice I would add is to pray to God to give you a wife or husband and keep praying. But quite honestly, don't waste time seeking them out. Yes, pursue someone if you believe they are a good match and/or God gives the go ahead, but don't look into a crowd of people and wonder if "the one" is in there (I speak metaphorically. I know most people aren't looking into a crowd and wondering that). Don't fall into the trap of meeting a pretty girl or cute guy and allow your loneliness to make you see them as nothing more than a marriage candidate: a medicine for your lonely heart. They are indeed more than that, and they might not even be for you to have in the first place. Accept that most people you meet will either be friends, passersby, or acquaintances, but only ONE is going to be the person you marry. Saying this to preach to myself as well as others. Stay strong, brothers and sisters. Focus on Christ more than seeking relationships. Everything will work itself out according to God's Will. Just keep following and keep seeking Him first.

Man this is a God ordained video. I already jumped the gun and told that given person I liked them yet I'm Christian and the person is not, well we haven't spoken about that topic of belief deeply. Yet his speech shows he doesn't have a continuous walk with the redeemer. I started to think about us getting married and the whole nine and actually questioned my supposed liking of him. I thought to myself "do you like the idea of him or do you like him for him". Very much needed video may God bless you. I need to continue to question my desires in the light of the word. The three tips are my homework for tonight! Thank you brother for this video God bless you.

I've prayed about it and asked for God's guidance, and asked for Him to point my heart to Him first and am enjoying my friendship with this boy and how we're growing closer to God together. I think the notion of remaining someone's friend is a very vulnerable place not many people are willing to be and the fear of being hurt or deceived can be very pressing, but in that pursuit to live selflessly, you begin to learn more about who the other person really is if they begin to abuse or manipulate your emotions.

MR. D, once those intense feelings go away you will be able to be yourself around her. Then you can grow closer with her and develop the friendship. THEN if you are both ready it might become a relationship. This is why it's easier to have a friendship, grow an attraction, then go into a relationship than it is to have an attraction, grow a friendship, and then go into a relationship. I hope that made sense. Regardless, I hope you are able to be friends with this girl at the very least.

I wish I had seen this video sooner. I am 24 and learning through lots of heartbreak and rejection that I need to work on how I handle feelings that I get for guys. It's not bad to have romantic feelings, they are God given, but it's how they are handled that is key. I've begun praying to ask God if I should remain single for the remainder of my studies as I think would help in intentionally seeking healing and guidance from God to mature in this part of my life. I think it would be good, and the apostle Paul makes a good case for it too (he also says its okay to be married too). God willing, one day I will have a long and loving relationship, but I don't think I'm ready for that right now; still in limbo of where I'm going in life right now. God knows the desires of my heart but I want to trust more in his timing, in the guidance of his word, and grow more in love and assurance of his character. Thank you for this video that put it so simply and for conveying how to go about 'crushes' in a Biblical way. God Bless

Goodluck everyone that watched this video, I myself am struggling with loneliness after my gf left me for someone else...I fight with my mind everyday when I see an attractive woman. I know I'm just lusting after her..I'm too much of a coward to approach and also very sceptical that I'll just hurt myself and that person even if I get my wishes granted... leaving it all to the Father's timing is very stressful and does take a toll on the mind and body... maybe I'm just not saved or chosen , which would make sense regarding my mental state when I'm by myself...well if you read this..God bless you and may you never feel the torture I feel being alive right now ✌️ Edit- my apologies, thanks for the time it took to make this video and all the others, I watch them every chance I get!

@@burntzach i understand. As I understand it, God made man to have a wife and vice versa (read about the creation of Eve and God's reasoning for it). Just keep praying. I hope you get a partner, bro. If you need help, I might be able to answer some questions you have (I'm not very qualified though, lol).

I really like this guy I work with, so I needed this video. I've never dated inside the context of Christianity, so I'm completely new to this. Thank you!
