Robert Carlyle is clearly having fun with this character. I love watching him play Rumple.

I love how Wish Rumple doesn't miss a beat. He realizes Regina isn't Wish Regina, and instantly starts manipulating her without a second of hesitation. She knows he's playing her, but that's the beauty of Rumple. He has something that she needs, and there is literally no other way then to let him manipulate her. She tries to get the info she needs without releasing him, but he always has a plan B. They really did waste Wish Rumple. He could've been great.

Robert Carlyle was brilliant in this show. His exuberance when playing Rumple and then switching to a more controlled temperament as Mr. Gold. And Regina was just absolutely stunning and sexy.

Is it just me, or is WR Rumplestiltskin more crazy than Main Rumplestiltskin?

I can’t imagine any other people playing these characters, especially rumple and Regina. Such good acting.

This Rumple is crazy like not "evil manipulable crazy" but like "he is nuts crazy". How many years the not real one spend in that cave.

He played her like a fiddle. The second he saw her he knew that he was getting out. He knew exactly which buttons to push, when to press, when to let off, when to be desperate, and when to be in control. She really should've known better. What's the harm in letting a not real him out of a not real prison into a note real world? Everything! He's Rumple-goddamn-Stiltskin Regina. He spent two hundred years trying to find a way into a different world, did you really think that he'd just stay where you left him?

"Not this sniveling pathetic deluded creature i see before meeh..." - hahaha. that was gold

So, we finally see the repercussions of this scene in the series finale.

One of the many things I love about Rumpelstiltskin is that the characters know that he's playing them but they need him

Re-watching this scene after seeing 'Homecoming' How did Wish Rumple know about Storybrooke? Is that why he stayed so long in his cage? so he could meet Real Regina? Real Rumple had squid ink and could leave anytime he wanted and I thought it was weird that Wish Rumple didn't use the squid ink to escape and make a new plan when he realized that wish Regina wasn't casting the curse. But if his plan was to meet real Regina in order to get to Hyperion Heights

The episodes with the wish realm rumple don't make sense. His son was already in the same realm but rumple wanted to cast the curse to find him bc he couldn't find a magic bean b4 now all of the sudden he can. It makes no sense

There's one logical loophole here: Wishrealm turned real. Wish Realm Snow and Charming are just as much Emma's parents as Storybrook Snow and Charming. Emma is the link between the worlds, but the moment the portal opened, both became real. Especially, when we take the author and the multiple realms into consideration. So, Regina killed Snow and Charming. Not any fake, just not her story's version.

I think in the Wish realm "Villains" dont get happy endings and only heroes, but in real realm both villain and hero get the happy ending, okay it so like alternate universe

After rewatching OUAT I’m curious as to why Rumple is still in prison. In season 2 he had squid ink in his cell and Emma used it to destroy the bars. So why didn’t escape when wish Regina failed?

This is completely and utterly off topic, but I really really wanna know what Rumple's reaction to wish bea's death was. I also wanna know how Emma not being the savior brought him back to the Enchanted Forest. Hell if it wasnt for Emma he would have never of seen his father again. Probably the only reason he was even brought up in the wish realm was to show how Henry was around in there too, but that opened up so many things that make no sense! Also please dont forget but Bealfire was over 200 years old when he died, if not 200 then at least 150 or something. Oh also why would wish realm rumple need Regina to cast a cure if Bea was in the Enchanted Forest!?! Making a wish were Emma isnt the savior shouldnt have effacts on so many things that happened before she was even born. And while yes Iv only really brought up one thing, but its a massive thing! Hell bea leaving his father is the whole reason the show can even exist! Okay sorry Ill shut up continue on with this wounderful scene with two wounderful actors. Well one actor the other an actress.

I stopped watching the show in S5 and only kept up with the show through youtube clips... But did they ever explain how WR Rumple knew about Storybrooke? I mean Rumple is one of my favorite characters and it always felt like he could pull anything off.. But I wanna know if they ever actually explained this part

There's a reason this Rumpelstiltskin was locked up. So that was a big mistake Regina made letting him out. Especially when he brought up the name Storybrooke. Regina should have hounded him more on why he knew that knowledge. As we see season 7 WR Rumpelstiltskin creates everyone's own personal story book. The OR Rumpelstiltskin sacrifices himself to Stop WR Rumpelstiltskin.

The wish realm was created on a wish the evil evil queen made she just used the existing characters, to make a prison for Emma, so the actual story does not matter. Its not an alter universe, its a recreation of a present one with changes made to keep Emma as a damsel i distress

Wait is even baelfire rumple's son in this realm because he just found a magic bean in a day while the other rumple spend such a long time trying to find one to be able to reunite with his son

Ironic considering considering didn't rumple have squid ink in his cell. That in the real world Emma and Snow used to get out of the cell in season 2.

I have so many mixed feelings seeing Rumple is later seasons. Robert Carlyle was incredible at playing the character but the writing just seems so convenient and plain. Remember at the begging when tracking between realms was the hardest thing to do and magic beans were the rarest thing the world. Now they spring up like weeds exactly when the characters need them. Seasons 6 and 7 just feel so reduced compared to even season 4

Okay so Wish Hook went to the New Enchanted Forest and was seduced by Gothel and had a daughter only to return to the Wish Realm. So if Hook was able to get out of the realm he’s real and so is the Wish Realm which must mean that somewhere out there the Heroes and Villains realm must be real. It’s like they simply took over the space of those people from those alternate realms. Yet it doesn’t explain how Henry can exist in the Wish Realm. I mean the Wish Realm follows the path of the original Enchanted Forest until the point where Regina cast the curse. And the curse failed. This means that Rumple lost his son and that his son would still have ended up in the world without magic, but because the curse wasn’t cast neither Emma nor Pinocchio would be sent through meaning that Henry wouldn’t exist because Emma and Neal wouldn’t have met and wouldn’t have had intercourse to produce Henry. It makes no sense....

Please tell me the actor for Rumple got an Emmy.
