So far the marketing for Disney's _Wish_ has been very strong. And if Disney continues the strong marketing, I believe this movie will be a top box-office draw and get good ratings. The hype is increasing for sure!

One of best parts about its marketing is that they’re giving the creators a time to shine in the promotions even without the actors. Keep in mind that movies usually would give actors credit first and then the crew despite showing the director and producers’ names. It’s not every day that they will give the crew attention first

THANK YOU DISNEY FOR ACTUALLY PROMOTING YOUR MOVIE FOR ONCE! 😭 EDIT: I have since seen Wish and hated it. I know some of you liked it, but the majority of reviews seem to be negative and the poor box office numbers were well deserved.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was nice to see Disney going back to more of what it has been known for. And I had a lot of fun picking out the references to past disney movies - like Aisha's cape being the same as Fairy Godmother's in the animated Cinderella, the spiraling clouds around the tower like in Sleeping Beauty (not to mention seeing Aura's blue dress in a quick scene), and the fact that there are seven friends dressed and matching colors of the seven dwarfs with the corresponding characteristics. And that Aisha's best friend looks a little like snow white! The care to detail that went into this movie did not go unnoticed. 😃

@@Macintosh1001 This was originally set as a 2D film. Moana had that option too. They had the full go ahead. But, the technical aspects of camera work, dimensions and so on, that made the filmmakers elect for 3D. So, unlike the past where 3D over 2D was business and to save costs(Even though many Disney animators argue it's pretty much the same and pros can outweigh the cons), this time it was a creative decision that they pick 3D. They do have a point, I'll say, we can't go backward but forward in NEW ways. From here, they can find different ways of combining 2D/3D and at the same time, produce full 2D films again. That's why people got on board in the first place, it cannot be forsaken...

I can guess the plot twist: Asha gets the ability to grant wishes, which she starts doing until I guess the queen makes a wish that negatively affects the kingdom, but Asha doesn't see that so, she grants it. Later she learns every wish shouldn't be granted, so the King and Asha work together to save the kingdom. 🤞
