Hello guys! It seems like I'm always against it, but you see that I always try to give my point of view with evidence.
This time we can appreciate if in fact the stainless steel intercooler tube kits are in fact worse or not for the temperatures. We can also win, or in this case lose some LAG by using harder tubes. Which would then be the case with metal tubes.

Nice tip. I reinforced my factory one with duct tape and some vulcanized rubber tape but I will replace it soon for a harder one. Thanks!

Hello. It gives you a psychological effect. Lol. I just removed it to be painted and I'm driving it without, drove it really hard like crazy and feel no REAL difference. Aldo, with age the shock towers on cars that do not have it appear to be cracking. Makes sense because supposably the bar prevents twisting of frame. So better to have that not to.

I have changed turbo on my alfa gt jtd. After that car start to smoking,black smoke when accelerating. Can reason for that be weaker,smaller turbo charger?

Hello. If it is the original size turbo make sure your intake pipe has no cracks. Also this intercooler pipes no cracks. And check if the vacuum hoses are correct and no cracks also

Great info. Not a lot of people know this. BTW, I think I decided next year to, instead of Giulietta 1.4 Multiair, buy Brera 2.2 JTS. Can you tell me something about that engine, what to look for and similar? I know it is based on GM block, but everything else in it is Alfa. I know it has timing chain lubrication issues, that GM fixed on their later models, but Alfa did not? It also has something like 2 throttle bodies or something? Not really sure. And since it is a direct injection, does it have carbon buildup issues on the intake? Does the gearbox have any issues as well?

Hello. Glad you like it. In my life time I only saw one, ONE 2.2 jts 939. On a spider, just repaired the soft top. So, I really do not now almost anything about them. Sorry. Do know the chains are a issue, and about the non modification, maybe because the sales numbers where do low, it was not viable for them.

@@alfaromeonoproblem OK. Thank you. There is one for sale now for 4.100 Euros. But I don't have money now, at the begining of next year I will. I hope there will be one for sale then too. Maybe the same one. Who knows. Brera is such a great car, and I love coupes the most.

Hi sir i have question my intake air tube was broken i have no powe now i fixed it and have more power but bring out a lot of black smoke and on 1500 rpm the car hesitate on acceleration what to do?

Hello. Do you mean the pipe between the air flow meter and the turbo? It's crucial to be absolutely perfect. No cracks or defects.

@@alfaromeonoproblem yes that pipe i have fixed it and now my 147 alfa briga sometime a lot of smoke sometime no and when i hold the rpm on 1500 you know normal driving the car shakes like going to turn of

Try to confirm if the pipe is good, how did you repair it? Next is to do a diagnosis and see parameters

@@alfaromeonoproblem i have fixed it with skotch it have a big diference in speed it looks like have stage 2 the smoke it looks is going day by day bur that thing on 1500 rpm i dont know how to explain
