You can also use pool/ beach noodles as the legs. I’m wondering why the paint was needed?! You can’t see the paint!

It adds a little protective layer to the paper and tape from the elements, it would also keep any print from showing through the tights. If you want even more durability, a layer of plastic wrap or duct tape might be good options. Paint is totally optional!

Looks great much more quality than some of the cheaper ones were seeing at the stores like the dollar tree with the sparkly material. The shoes are great. Hopefully you got a good deal on them.
