What am I missing here? Why wouldnt you hust walk in the woods and bring fallen branches home? Seriously please someone tell me why plastic pool noodle are better than found branches.

You have to realize friend.... there are a lot of people that have only seen "the woods" from the windows of their vehicle. Enter the woods? I doubt you'd get them to. If it's bought from a store then people will use it. It's an artificial life now...hence the pool noodles.

It sure was ! Cool idea ! Looks really cool ! I love it ! I actually am a pro at faux finishes on things . Love the shrink wrapping idea . I need a new heat gun . So thanks for the reminder 🤣. I make new wood look old for a living . So I appreciate faux finishing . Making do with what you can get . I bet the trick or treat kids enjoyed coming to your house. This idea is fun and can be tweaked in so many ways. Thank you 😊

I love how the pool noodle trellis turned out. One tip I'd add though is that both pool noodles and the pipe come in black already and would save a lot of the work. Look for the black pool noodles at the Dollar Tree when they start putting out the Halloween and fall items.

Americans really go nuts for Halloween. I’ll stick with a basket of pumpkins in the house. I loved these though. The ghosts are so cute. I think you could adapt the arch for any ‘holiday’. 😃🇬🇧🇺🇸

Very cool with the Archway !!! You can also add another dimension by putting chemlights inside the plastic skulls for a nightime creepy glow :) Great DIY Project !!! :)

I just did the pool noodle branches going around my garage frame after seeing this vid Thnx for the inspiration! The only thing I did different was stretch the plastic from a few branches then shrink wrap them to give a web effect. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I love give the skull a labonemy, spell check, that got me😂🤣 but I really love the arch way you are very creative and funny! 😄 I loved this but now I'm thinking of doing it with sticks instead and not for Halloween but for every day!! Love the look!!! Thanks so much for the inspiration 😊

Rewatching it, I would add that the heaviness of wood would destabilize the top of the arch so pool noodles would be better.

Great ideas...I can use them this year. I have pool noodles and pvc on hand..and everything to make witches.I'm starting my Halloween 🎃 projects the archway will be added to the list. The witches 🧙‍♀️are quick and easy...love it.

How does it hold up? We've had a lot of wind still even after the hurricane long passed. Yesterday morning we had 11mph wind & it kept knocking off my glasses and making my hair blow around so I couldn't see, I can't figure out where I put my hair clips! I know I've broken the bunch recently but I had one that worked lol. IDK if you're using your arch for Halloween or you're round? But I I'm intending to use mine forIDK if you're using your arch for Halloween or you're round? But I I'm intending to use The one I make to have something to hang my Clematis and Wisteria from once I get the seedlings growing. I have 2 beautiful Mandevillas that came loose during the hurricane and I need to get those tied up and straightened out before they grow any bigger but eventually I want to use the arch as a walkway So I don't want to use that where my mandevils are

for the hat if you glue two/three wires on the inside sticking out then i could "clip" in to the bucket to hold in place, but still be removable. Or just hot glue in one or two spots so you can reach in but it does not blow off

Hi love your idea. I guess you have to cover every inch of the pool noodles with saran wrap. Is that right because the spray paint will dissolve the pool noodle? Is that what I understand?

Should have painted the pvc pipe first then you don't have to worry about trying to cover all the white!

I would have slid pool noodles over the PVC pipe but otherwise it looks great.

That actually is a great idea. Slide the noodle over the pipe, then wrap it in the cling wrap. That is what these comments are for, to share ideas and knowledge. Much appreciated.

So you went out and bought pool noodles and plastic wrapped it. Then spray painted it. I would have just used sticks. They're free.

It can be done much easier. Get a nice piece of a dead tree. Spray and attach where you want it. His is very good, I would never think to do anything like that.
