duke got a lucky draw in the tournament. Conveniently set up by the committee. They were a 4 seed in the south but were supposed to be a 4 seed in the East. When asked about it on CBS the committee member gave some nonsensical bs answer that made no sense. Auburn shoulve been the 4 seed in the south. We all know whats going on though. Duke was protected from getting blown out on national tv by Uconn. Duke isnt winning shit next season. Scheyer has proven nothing as a coach and winning with a bunch of freshmen is a thing of the past. btw Uconn was not reliant on freshmen this season. We had two that played significant minutes. Duke will be good but they wont be the best team in the country. 7 is a fair ranking. Theyll be good but theyre not going to be the best team.

Scheyer’s been a head coach for two years. Of course he’s gonna make mistakes. Gotta judge him off the full sample. It’s missighted to say he hasn’t proved anything in March Madness after being 20 minutes away from the Final Four with a fundamentally flawed team lacking a true center or rim protector, and playing its entire frontcourt out of position.

@@timothybullock5418 they were gifted a elite 8 appearance coz of Jamal Shead’s injury! Healthy Shead Houston wins 9/10 times! I don’t think this team was all that flawed, it was a very good Duke team not great! But good enough to stay competitive against NC state
