It’s not simply claimed, it’s known historical fact. The difference between our ancestors and these guys, it that our ancestors were skilled enough to catch and forage without pumping out rockpools, which are important ecosystems. These guys would have been absolutely _hammered_ by the law for doing that where I live. 🍻

If they do this in the US they would be doing at least a year in prison and be forced to pay thousands of dollars in fines! And although American laws tend to be too overbearing, but in this case the law would be justified in hammering these guys for such an abuse of natural resources!

Wow most successful commercial fisherman ever witnessed without a vessel. That tidal pool was a "honey hole"(slang we use in the mountains to describe a spot loaded with huge fish) and the technique to drain it was spot on. I've done it many times to flooded footers before I start pouring concrete in them. Cool video!😎
