that engraving on the caseback is quality!!

I suspect this will be a heart over head purchase....your buying into the story, it's local association to the Swedish aviation industry and of course the design inspiration....you hit the nail on the head with the movement, it will put a lot of people off, that said it is a solid movement and I have no issue with Quartz....5 year warranty is a rarity in the watch industry.....the price has me scratching my head, you know im tight, every penny is a prisoner to me but on one hand I think it's over priced and on the other I'm thinking it's not too bad actually....it doesn't matter how much lume a watch has we always want more, as is the case here....the one and only thing I don't like is the date window, although colour matched which is a nice touch it still feels like it's an after thought, would look far better without....your right these will "fly" off the shelf....would I purchase one, no!...but would I recommend it as an option, absolutely!!!!

It’s just the wrong movement for that watch. They could have used a Seagull to compete with Baltic and Lorrier. Or, they could have moved upmarket with a 7750 derived movement (and a corresponding move up in price). If they really insist on a mechaquartz, then they should have manufactured the rest of the watch to a lower price point.

Wish there was more lum ... perhaps on the arabics (numerals) and the bezel.

I wouldn't mind one and I'm not even a pilot.

Can`t believe the price of this watch. If you want quality Swedish watches buy MAEN !!

I went on their website and actually like the look of the Air Wolf Gun Metal UTC better ... but still $834-835 USD. This does have some nice looks details and finishes. However, You can get Yema's starting about half the price so it might be a tough sell. I am ok with a mecha-quartz movement but it should be reflected in the price.
