Ok I did not expect to get this emotional over a Minecraft animation but HOLY CRAP. This is the cutest thing I’ve ever witnessed. This just makes monsters tragic beings the kind that can’t control their abilities similar to Medusa from Greek Mythology.

It took a long time but finally the Minecraft anime returned, the wait was worth it

Fun Fact. Wither Skeletons are not transformed beyond recognition nor can they corrupt in the Overworld. But another potentially far greater fact... Bees can use Wither Roses to breed no differently than any other kind. And are seemingly immune to their effects as they take absolutely zero damage when outright *eating* them. And while yes in gameplay they still display a damage effect while pollenating them. A. I've sat there and watched them and they can pollenate and survive in a whole patch of them all the live long day. And B. They can also spread them and work their magic the same as any other flowers. So if he wanted to, he could bring her back to the Overworld with him and set her up as a protector of a giant bee colony or something. That way the bees get all the Roses for their "needs". And she can both admire flowers and plants *and* give and or get all the hugs she'll ever want from the bees. It's a win-win for everyone.

Steve has sacrifised himself just to give her a hug, that is why we chose him as the main character in minecraft!

The types of stories where the protagonist is denied of simple pleasures or simple happiness, either because of curses, or natural born misfortune is probably the most heart wrenching stories for me personally. We take the simple things in life for granted but seeing a possibility of someone denied such simplicities like a hug just hurts.

I binged this series in one morning, I love how you portray the mobs but also makes me curious of any mobs we might see in the future, but how you portrayed the wither skeleton was perfect, their touch is deadly and causes withering which by definition causes things to decay, it would make sense why she feels this way about killing any life she touches, almost like a curse.

And as an addition to this take, what if planting a Wither Rose, which somehow negates withering, undid it? This makes me want to learn to mod, so I could… wait. I’m going to go write down the idea I just had, actually. This could be something genuinely new for the Minecraft modding scene.
