This man was a great professional. I was 18 when Al Sanders passed away. I'm still sad about it.

To someone who has lived in Baltimore all my life, this video means a lot. I remember Al vividly, and Jerry Turner before him. Brings a tear to my eye.

I was 8 when he passed away. He was one hell of an anchor with a huge heart

I was only 9 when he passed away and I too am still sad that he's gone. He may be gone but, he's definitely forgotten. Al you're truly missed and channel 13 hasn't been the same without you.

I never watched Al being from Atlanta. But I hope he got to do commentary. He has a sense of “upliftment” regardless of how bleak things were. Seeing these clips, he was talking to not at or down.
