@@candyfordinner7216 I like the idea that he _tried_ to scupper his carrier for whatever reason, but critics praised the work, analyzing non-existent hidden depths into it, based on the assumption that a director with such a pedigree _must have_ had something brilliant in mind and sent some really powerful message, and mortified that they might be too stupid to understand its significance.

it's almost as if their mouths just weren't open enough, and that the actors didn't exactly feel happy. Maybe if they put a little more emotion, like joy and glee into this, but also opened their mouths far past the breaking point of their jaw bone

Zach cuts them off for the third time saying that's it's not working while Trevor is nodding his head in agreement. As soon as Zach asks them again to do it with their mouths more open, Trevor's nodding comes to a complete halt and he just gives Zach a death stare. I cracked up so much at this small detail and I'm amazed by how these guys were able to give that much attention to details regarding behavior and not only script. RIP Trevor, you'll be missed

Its been decades and I still show this exact video to people to show them the funniest thing ever recorded. I watch this video when I'm depressed or when I'm happy. I show this video to new girlfriends to see if they have the same sense of humor as me. This is beyond gold. This video is beyond platinum. This sketch is a comedy masterpiece.
