I love Zach and WKUK but I watched Barbarian without bias because I didn’t know it was Zach’s movie and it was not good. Like the first 2/3’s we’re great but it really dropped off in final act.

Years ago, we had to get a dynamite guy to come in to blast some bedrock on our property for construction we were doing. He showed up in a wheelchair and was missing both of his legs (looked just like Lt. Dan). Not a good first impression of a dynamite expert…

RIP Trevor Moore, such a comedic genius. This skit is a great example of what a great comedian Trevor was: the concept is EXTREMELY simple and, fundamentally, comical: "how crazy/scary would it be working at a landmine factory"? That is such a creative and killer foundation for a comedy sketch. Edit: Man, I'm always finding new little bits of comedy I missed in these sketches when I rewatch them, like "I'm going to go finish taking a leak" (as if one just starts, stops midway through, does something else, and then comes back XD)

All because your wife’s boyfriend had a great NFT scam going, but now that it fell flat,he’s living in Bangladesh making soccer balls & that idiot of a wife you have couldn’t be any happier than to live with sweaty soccer ball guy with the amazing abs. In the meantime, you pick up huge shards of razor sharp glass while taking care of Mike & your wife’s seven kids because they left with no announcement. But hey, at least it pays $15/hour. Then people are suddenly SOOOO worried about your safety!

I had a trial shift on a construction site where they were building a house. They gave me an angle grinder to sand down planks off wood with. Basically I felt exactly like WKUK new guy, because I was using the most dangerous piece of construction equipment to work with, with about a foot of space to work and eventually he came out to see why I was staringly bewildered at these bits of wood instead of working, and I was like "this 30,000 rpm machine can cut through this plank using just sand paper, and all I'm wearing is a nylon shirt, quite frankly I don't want to give myself a c-section doing the most basic part of this job". The man was such a prick and so dissmissive "I don't think this is working out" I'm like your damn right it isn't! I hope everyone else on that site is still in one piece.

Angel grinder seems much scarier than it is. Just keep control of it. Working in a small space is dumb tho. Construction really ain't worth the hassle imo anyways it's good to get out.

@He did a run to the local hardware store FOR ME, and instead of picking up a belt sander as I asked he grabbed an angle grinder, and then told me later that the belt sander was only for hobbyists, EVEN THOUGH the sander I was using at the start of the job was one of those "rotary" sanders which is basically a vibrating rectangle. I am perfectioniistic and it would be impossible to do the workload given to me and not do crappy job.... or die.
