Nice set up man. You made your 104001 pretty sweet. Love all the metal.... looks great! I didn’t go too crazy with my 104001... I bought two ESC not sure which one I’m going to use though. There both hobbywing, the Ezrun max 10 60amp and the others a quicrun 120amp sensored. I couldn’t find the 120 amp at the time. And I liked features on both. Wish I could have found the 120amp waterproof one... at the time I ordered mine most people were out cause of the chip shortage crap. Ordered the blue turnbuckles for mine. And grabbed me a hobbywing 3650 g2 10.5 turn sensored motor... I think I got the 25 kg red servo instead of the blue. But the blue one really tempted me... I’m just getting back into the hobby after a long break, I just wanted to have fun and do some light bashing so I didn’t go too nuts. I grabbed me a flysky gt5 transmitter. And ordered new tires very similar to the ones that come on the 104001 but instead of carpet there for dirt and gravel and higher quality rubber. The stocks ones wear out too fast. And sticking with 3s for now. I was going stay with deans/t plug connectors but after a bit they kinda bugged me. I still had the cheap ones that make you fiddle with them too much. Drove me nuts so I ordered a bunch of XT60 connectors. Should be here any day. Can’t wait to get it all set up. Now I’m considering getting that 80 gram metal spur gear replaced with something a little lighter maybe. Not sure. If I go all metal like you it probably won’t matter. But I was considering trying to reduce the weight a little... that sucker is a massive hunk of steel lol. Anyways good job on the build. Looks like its tons of fun and really rips. 👏👍

I ordered metal parts for the front and rear end. I replaced the front end but all the tie rods are too long making the tires all pointed inward. I cant adjust it because they are already as short as they can be. I am getting so frustrared over here!

I have the same setup, all my equipment is cheap tho😄. Goolrc 4300kv motor, wp Max10 sct esc (rebrand Hobbywing Max10). Just got the esc today along with short 4s battery. 😎🤘🏾

The real problem is that spur gear, to heavy to big and saps power. I made my own from another car parts.

Metal parts are worse than plastic . On impact they bend . Not flex like plastic. Wish they had plastic upgrades.
