I’m confused- if Christ is in people, why do they need to be born anew of the Spirit? Nicodemus was told he needed to be born again; Peter says we are regenerated by incorruptible seed. If Christ is already in me , then why do I need something else. I know that my life changed when I had a change of heart towards God and said, “I want you.”

All died with Christ, all are made alive in Him. “Born again” is more of the individuals awakening to that truth, the finished work of Christ. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.

Maybe this…? Nicodemus was told that by Yeshua, pre cross/resurrection. Christ being fully in us was post cross/resurrection teaching. He left Himself inside of us as a new Creation/co-Heir. The Holy Spirit resurrection power was given so we could live life abundantly now on earth as it is in heaven! By going out as He did and perform signs, miracles, & wonders. 🙌🏼

1Peter 1:3 says we were born again at the Resurrection! Jesus finished it! He just keeps opening our eyes to what we ALREADY have!! There's always MORE!!

I love Paul Young…The Shack and ongoing conversations. But….how can he say he doesn’t know if he would marry a homosexual couple? The answer should be no without question. I don’t get that.

Wow. That story/poem you read hit it right on the head. Reminds me of a spontaneous song I heard "You are my daily bread, I never have to beg, You keep me hungry, You keep me fed!" AMEN! What a mystery the Trinity is!!
