This movie helps us experience our inner reality that weaves God into the scene while we move forward in the movie 🎥🍿 such that we become every bit a part of it remembering our own twists & turns in life. It ministered to me deeply , thank you. God bless you again & again in Jesus Name!

The Shack changed my relationship with God. Loved the book, loved the movie. I just wrote and uploaded a song inspired by The Shack called "Your Love Drives My Fear Away"

God had you write that book to your kids and friends because it was meant for us all. It made me closer to God. I have to admit...when my 20 year old son was murdered while changing a flat tire I was so mad at God, but then I read you book and looked at everything differently...once the movie came out ...me and my husband watched it and it made a huge difference in our lives after the loss of our son. We both cried and Yesss...God is good ALL the time. I can't thank you enough. I still of course miss my son every moment of the day, but the book and the movie made it bearable. I know he's with God.

I know to some this book is silliness but as a returned Christian, this book saved the relationship with my mother and also brought me back to God with understanding instead of hatred and anger when my brother died. It's okay to not like the book but do understand this book has been read by so many people through so many lenses so it might not have impacted you but it has impacted someone out there. Perhaps it's made more people want to learn about the Bible and God, and that for them is beautiful.

The movie just made me go back search things on whether it’s real just because it made me tear up a lot like I felt th pain & understandings. I believe it’s motivation & strengthening it makes you really sit and think I’m really grateful and glad you published something so great. I never knew this was a book this is phenomenal ❤️🥺. I ran into this movie on Netflix btw ❗️

I read The Shack because it was recommended by someone in a book club I regularly attend. I didn't finish it in time for the book club meeting. Why? It was poorly written, with one dimensional characters. I decided for other reasons To reread it from the beginning right through to the end and it was even worse than I thought. the writing was still poor. It got worse. The protagonist gets an invitation from God, so he goes to meet God in a shack where he found his child's blood and messed up dress and could only imagine what happened to her four years earlier when she went missing. When he meets God, there is a real joke part she's black. Give me a break. .Mr. Young has become a millionaire on the basis of this book. I find it incredible that if people really want to find out anything about Christianity and the Holy Trinity, try a Christian Church instead of reading this silliness. I recommend it to absolutely no one. It changed my life in a small way: I became a bit more discerning about who I pay attention to. Want to consider the problem of theodicy? There are better ways than this.

If you believe God is omnipresent, all knowing and has power without end then you can be blessed by this book and movie. As mortal beings we only use a very small percentage of our brains. The Bible only lets us have a glimpse of who God is and His power. This book allows us to think deeper and broader. One has to have experienced pain, anger, depression, guilt and loss to such a degree to be able to relate to what Mac is feeling. If someone watches this movie and comes away from it with a negative experience than they simply weren't ready for it. As for myself, I was ready and oh what a beautiful journey of healing this story took me on. This movie gave me a whole new perspective on why we have to endure so much pain and sadness in this world. It taught me not to judge others, that is God's job. It reminded me the importance of forgiveness. The most important things I learned from the movie is God never leaves us during hard times. My daughter and her friend got hit by a car walking across an intersection. The driver said he thought the girls were dogs so he sped up to 45 mph to try and kill them. The fact the girls are alive after their heads went through the window shield and breaking so many bones is a true miracle. My daughter still is in horrible pain 5 months later and barely can walk. I desperately needed to see this movie! Thanks so much to Paul Young the author of The Shack and all who worked so hard to produce this movie !!! God bless you 🙏
