You wanna talk about ungrateful, the WNBA was a gift to women’s basketball from the NBA. They fund funded the league to get them started and they thought it might be a money maker, but turns out nobody enjoyed watching the level of competition they provide(Go Figure). So basically each NBA team has to pay their share to fund the WNBA every year because they are a failed business. Yet they have nerve to complain about not getting a fair share salary lol, what failed business do you know where they have money to give everyone a massive raise.

Here's a scenario for everyone watching and reading these comments. Imagine working for a company that pays you $200,000 a year and you've been there for 13 years, that'd be pretty sweet right? Now also imagine that company that you've been at for 13 years hasn't made a single penny for those 13 years and in fact loses millions of dollars each year. Now imagine yourself getting pissed off and demanding a raise, while you are fully aware the company you work for shouldn't even exist and at any point could close its doors and you wouldn't have a job tomorrow.......welcome to the WNBA.

@@DemoTrucking The disparity is not in the amount paid but in the revenue generated. That truck analogy is a false equivalence fallacy. In entertainment "same thing" makes no sense because the market determines success, otherwise every rapper could say "I do the same things as Drake and Kanye I want their earnings too". To make that flawed example work, you would have to compare their logistics and revenue, then "I drive a truck" is no longer the same for everybody that says it. WNBA actually operates at a loss so even what is being paid is actually a subsidy to keep it afloat. Where does that money come from? I like how they introduce LeBron as the benchmark for an NBA salary, like he isn’t one of the greatest of all time, still playing elite basketball at an age where most would’ve slowed down considerably, and still pretty much the franchise player for any team he’s on, Like seriously, could’ve used anyone else but you had to use the dude who’s basically the face of the NBA

Also, there season is only 34 games. While the NBA season is 82 games. Hugeee, difference. Also the NBA sells more merchandise, has a bigger audience, and viewers, and more media coverage which means more bread. The fact that people still don't get this, including lebrick is just mind blowing.lol

But I doo understand what you're saying tho, guys spend there money on jewelry, cars, houses, some even strip clubs, and a bunch of useless stuff. Etc I totally understand where you're coming from, but you just need too understand how a business works. Like, you can't expect too make 100 mill on a 2-3 year contract if the business is making 60mill a year. Makes absolutely noo sense.
