I'm vegan but I don't think you can realistically expect the average person to go through a detailed analysis of every single product they happen to buy on a daily basis. I don't even think vegans do that anyway, there's sweat shops and stuff, most of the clothes and products we buy are completely unethical, nobody, not even vegans, put in that amount of effort to be ethical. I think the overall point of not eating animals is good enough as far as veganism goes, but we all have to have our own personal spiritual evolutions as well - vegans in general need to stop eating junk food as well, a lot of vegans are still overweight and unhealthy.
