Very smart approach to the short videos. Great format!

Hey Melee Fighting King here, as a fresh spawn you can one combo anyone geared. With a full stam bar you can chain three heavy swings, which stun you and effectively keep you in a stagger for all three, then you can get 2-4 punch’s in after the last heavy and the person goes uncon. Edit: the last 2-4 you can get in while the person is in the last stagger. Literally uncounterable.

I like this alot. I do still like the long format deep dive videos with stats and all that but this is excellent for those small tips that dont require much explanation.

I worked hard and grinded for hours to get some pretty good gear and lost it all this evening because of my own stupidity haha. What looked like a fresh spawn was stood in the road, not moving at all. Keep in mind that I always try to communicate with anyone I come across as long as they don't have a weapon, or they keep it on their back if they do. But as the player wasn't moving, or responding to my comms, I made the silly mistake of getting up close to him well I pondered what to do. When I was within a few feet and with my weapon down, he or she suddenly lunged at me with punches. I fired around 4 shots with my Glock and hit him at least twice, but after a few swings I was staggered and knocked out. When I came around he was stood over me looting my body, albeit bleeding heavily, and then he finished me off with my own weapon. I was mad at myself more than anything, but have taken it as a lesson of not what to do in the future. I'm a relatively new player and you learn things about the game all the time. I always thought I was safe with a weapon if the other player only had his fists or a melee weapon, but that's clearly not the case! Anyway, if anyone feels like rolling in a two sometime feel free to send me an add for Xbox @ Saosiinn 🤘

Whats the shock damage value difference between a regular punch vs a heavy punch? How much does it vary between different melee weapons? Is it worth it to do heavy attacks, or just keep light punching? Just some questions I think could be good for a melee research video

now the question is, is the power punch more viable or you should avoid it and then give the fast ones? I mean, everyone wants to start with power punches but it's very easy to let your enemy drain their stamina

People have been trying to punch me when I come into town with my usual bag of food for the freshies. Kinda annoying when you're doing charity and have to blast someone with a shotgun. But I've noticed that I almost blackout right away. Do melee weapons do more shock now?

BUT!! What about a footsie fight with other fresh spawns....do kicks do more shock damage?

Feels like they have really nerfed the power of the freshie in last update. Usually a heavy hit was an instant knockout, or 2 normal hits but now very inconsistent. Hit a guy 3 times with a sledge n he just walks it off 😳🤣

5 hits to the head, ok. But 5 hits to chest to KO? Jesus, devs can't balance this, same as ballistic protection being too strong now. Love Dayz,but many recent changes were for the worse. Just like changing sound range of guns for gameplay reasons...

This was not the right place for CPR...

just give us the 0.62 damage back.
