This was Woe, Is Me's second show back after not playing for almost 10 years! I was very fortunate to get a really good spot up on the balcony to record the full set. I hope you guys enjoy how it came out, I was very proud of how it came out and hopefully I can start recording more full sets for you guys.

@@NickTVTheClassics no I have an open mind and I enjoy other vocalists doing songs in their band that another vocalist in some. Doesn’t matter which band. It’s fun to hear even if it doesn’t sound great. Just because you’re too ignorant and closed minded and lack the ability to understand other viewpoints doesn’t mean you should shove that down people’s throats. Also the quality of these vids are not crisp. This is from a phone. This wasn’t done by CaliberTV. Plus Michael’s screaming sounds different now compared to when he was in Issues which doesn’t help the quality of his performance with the songs either. Obvious logic. 🤷‍♂️ I didn’t watch This video all the way beginning to end so I wasn’t focused on the Ben Ferris aspects of it so can’t comment on that. Wouldn’t be surprised if his screaming sounds shittier now too but I’d have to pay attention to that more to give a solid answer to that.

@@brunodelcarpio I’ve been streaming the Genesis album constantly since I’ve seen these live reunions .. Honestly I forgot how great it was. I was a fan that always sided with Hance and genesis album. I just find it easier to enjoy and more realistic.

Two rhythm guitarists and no one on lead guitar on the Number[s] songs is just atrocious. Cool to see the guys together again, but it's evident someone's missing: Tim Sherrill.

Agreed. Sounds so empty. Number[s] songs have Tim's magical touch on them with the lead guitar parts, but here? So much is missing. Different layers to the songs is just gonezo.

Why they even let Andrew in the band in the first place is beyond me. If you're gonna replace someone in a band, the least you could do is know how to play their parts.

@@FairyCRat He was even rhythm guitar in Abandon All Ships. Kyler Browne was lead in that band, so they replaced a lead guitarist (Tim, Geoffrey, Jack) with a rhythm guitarist (Andrew) when they already have Kevin on rhythm..? Very strange to be honest with you. Either Kevin or Andrew are playing leads here and it makes the songs alot more dull. Fuck Genesis, Numbers is their good album.

I am happy to see them back sincerely, but I really really hope they mature their sound towards something that isn’t just generic chugcore that genesis became. I’m not saying I’m looking for TTNG levels of tapping or math rock, or that they should be making numbers 2.0, but the popular metal-core sound they grew up in is really showing some age and at the very least it had standout qualities.

I'm not sure Michael can do these songs anymore lmao his voice here sounds like it did on Blue Wall, which was much deeper than his older stuff and I originally chalked it up to artistic direction. But hearing this, his voice may have really deepened in a way that can't be recovered lol
