I just found terry wogan i remember and um sure you all over the age of 65yrs off in the English channel was a ship with young guys playing music that the BBC RADIO would not play there was terry wogan Tony Blackburn Jimmy who was a old man trying to be young my dad would take our hand radio in the car going to the beach like little Hampton and we be singing along as loud as we can dad leading the way

Not everyone north sounds like they have a regional accent much the same as everyone in the south of the country doesnt speak ad they are from Essex or from the east end which is the presumption up north.

Oh Freddy Star - a well named artist - so talented. We of our generation had the very best. This generations artists are so lacking in clean good humour, and it will never be repeated. So sad!!

@@tigressnsnow sadly we will never see his like again. We had to endure that irritating Chris Evans in his wake. Spouting non stop bullshit for three and a half hours Mon to Fri. Thankfully he found another channel to bore, and now we have Zoe Ball contend with. There's so very little natural talent around today. But then I suppose I'm getting too old for all the politically correct drivel we have to listen to or not as in my case.
