I can still picture the day my middle school music teacher walked in with tears on his face and the whole room went quiet as he told us what was going on in New York. 6th grade. And it changed everything forever. Now I know that there are controversies about causes and conspiracies and everything else. But what happened changed our entire generation, how could these teens be so unaware of what people actually went through related to all of this.

When I went to Atlanta, I had an amazing dinner at a hotel's restaurant and met the sweetest waiter ever. He was in his mid-twenties and barely mentioned how much he made per day, and I have to say it's a shame waiters are treated like that, specially those who clearly do a great job and make a huge effort to treat customers like royalty. He was also advising us not to walk down certain streets at night and said "I wouldn't want my sister to be there on her own". I still remember that because it was so sweet. About 3,000 people died that day and many more in the aftermath. Now a lot of us feel like so many of us were lied to and died for that lie. But we still condemn terrorism. I really like the way you addressed the girl who was having trouble with the work experience. I initially had the reaction like "yep, that's life" - but you're absolutely right, this society has set us up for failure, with the way we value "work work work work" and we end up feeling like giving The best and strongest years of our lives away to some company is just normal. The girl is right, working 9-5 with the commute leaves you with nothing else to give. You just have to get a good night sleep so you can do it again tomorrow. I wish i had someone tell me that there was a better way growing up, but my parents just drilled me with that "work work work" mindset, and anything else was "unrealistic". So if you want to learn from the past and not repeat it, you need to critizise the US government, their secret services and the way they influenced international politics towards civil war in other countries. Without heavy critique, nothing will change and they will do the same again. Same goes for Israel, if Israel continues to opress the people within and outside their borders and doesn't work on a solution with equal human and civil rights for everybody, they will never truly defeat Hammas and they won't end the dying of the Palestinian people. If they don't end this, their self worth, their safety as a country and their opinion on their government will continue to suffer. As a german I know it is possible to love your country and still criticise whenever the government does or did something to create suffering or violated human rights. I can love my country and still hate the holocaust, war, mass murder in general, racism, ablism and antidemocratic extremism. Ignoring what your country does or did wrong isn't love, it's stupidity and ignorance. Many Israelis, I know, love their country, but hate the human rights violations many settlers and Israeli military take part in and they are against the extremist government and the bombing of Gaza, as they understand that Hammas are not representative of Palestinian people and they don't want more civilians to suffer. Many Palestinians and Israelis want peace and prosperity instead of this never ending war, don't call those Israelis self hating. Just because you are too afraid of healthy critique and don't share their understanding of a nuanced world where evil is not defeated by killing an enemy, but by stopping evil deeds (like killing) yourself and empower others to have options, so opression makes way for cooperation. I would call these people brave, compassionate and loving, they have integrity and self respect.

Hi Blair and everyone. I really hope you read this. I’m 16 and I don’t live in America, but my English teacher is American. One day she decided to teach us about gender and sex. She talked about non-binary, agender, transgender, cisgender and more. Then she talked about a article an that was about parents that decided to raise their babies without a gender. I remember thinking everything she said was valid. I used to support the LGBTQIA+ community. I used to think fucking neopronouns are valid. Then, I found your channel. I realized not everyone in the community thinks the same. I always knew they were crazy people, I just felt like if I said something against it I was homophobic and was a bad person. I remember hearing about the jk Rowling incident and thinking she’s a terrible person because she said that trans people shouldn’t exist. (that’s what I thought transphobia was) Turns out that is not what she said. She said something completely normal. I was so affected by this community. I had a whole argument about this with my family. It ended with me calling everyone transphobic. Now. I realize they were right. Thank you so much Blair for making your KZfaq channel. Now I understand things a lot more. And I don’t support a community of idiots 😂

I also have a story, which ended in me having to delete my KZfaq account, I use to support a trans woman KZfaqr I basically grew up with. I used to be such a big fan, I was very recognizable in the community, but as soon as I found out of de trans, and trans people who were not afraid to admit that they know or thought they knew were the opposite sex, along with other stuff. I used they/them for the KZfaqr I watched they wanted me to use female pronouns, and said they are a woman, and I respectfully disagreed, and stated my reasonings, along with fears, which I brought up de trans, and my religion but I didn't want my religion to be in the way of how I viewed others. And they called me transphobic, I got upset, I didn't mean any harm, and they made a video convincing 100k+ people, which I got backlash, etc. they said I was spreading transphobia (when that "transphobia" was me literally sharing the same incident they mentioned/showed in their expose video of me) they said that I lied about being called transphobic, yet the reply they gave me before I deleted my account was them calling me transphobic and saying trans people exist which i knew i watched them for a good four to five years, and they gave me constant paragraphs of whatever they said which i forgot they did say they were story that i was raised wrong and i need to learn biology, along with other stuff said. I told them trans woman are not woman but they are trans woman (somewhere along those lines) and I even still watched their videos days later and also commented and they still lied and said I wasn't ok? When they even responded to one of my comments after the day they got upset with what I said. They are a problematic KZfaqr but I kept saying "they'll change" but they never have. I showed and told a friend of mine what happened and they were smart enough to know that people can still be friends with differences. I have more to say but this is enough from me. Sorry if this sounded like a rant.

I was 22 during the 9/11 attack, and remember it vividly. It was a real event in my life, and I can recall that day 100%, and it is still fresh to me how our nation responded and the how it all changed that day. I find that Gen Z, who were born years after that simply don't grasp the magnitude of that day and it is just some random day in history to them. The issue is that schools aren't teaching about it with the emphasis and depth they should be. MOST Z's I've had conversations with, act as though it is annoying for them to even hear about it, and they simply are indifferent to it. Their only concerns in life are LGBT stuff, and pushing the "non-binary" and "pronoun" narrative, treating that as if that is the only issue that exists, and only subject that matters in the world. It is impossible to have a conversation with them, because there is an overall priggish, arrogant, and know-it-all attitude, and instant defensiveness if you dare try to educate or correct them. They are utterly unteachable, and emotionally immature, which has nothing to do with them being young, it is entirely about the mentality of their generation rooted in their Main Character Syndrome, self-centric nonsense, turning mental illness and being trans into a fashion statement and social construct. They truly think only they matter, and nothing that ever happened before they were born holds weight at all. And I realize not ALL Z's are this way, but it is a critical mass to the point our future looks dark and hopeless, because it is a generation that lacks a soul or conscious, with the covert narcissism to match.

She’s barely 1% better than Shapiro which is the only reason she’s able to roll her eyes at him. I say this because I’ve seen her video throwing around passages from the Qu’ran about why it’s evil so I can only imagine her finding it funny that people are finally beginning to study the Qu’ran so they can debunk the lies and finally welcome and embrace their culture and religion which is the most beautiful form of activism and this generation deserves more credit than the queen of a self hating cherry picker.

To say the United States foreign incursions, interventions, and policies with the Middle East is ... "messy", is probably being too kind. The only real constant with our Middle East policies and actions is our seemingly unending alliance with Israel. And that was a significant focus of bin Laden's 2002 letter, and probably the only reason people latched onto it. The further denigration of the United States was just icing on the cake. But had they read the letter in its fullest, actually understood what bin Laden was saying, they would've realized he demanded the West turn to Islam - the "religion of peace" as it's been called - when doing so would mean women get subjugated to the point The Handmaid's Tale would look like paradise and a substantial portion of the people who are now supporting bin Laden.... wouldn't survive the transition. And those who did wouldn't last long under Shari'a either.

No, he and the Taliban wanted somthing more similar to the handmaid's tale. Their idea of respect for women included keeping women from going to school or getting a job. Where women can never leave the house or even show their face in public. Where r*pe victims can be stone to death and homosexuality is a crime punishable by death. Osama may of condem the use of porn or sexaulizing women in media but he and the Taliban were fine with girls as young as 9 years old being forced to marry men old enough to be their grandpa. He wanted you to be one of multiple wives for cave dwelling men who think of you as property and would beat if you didn't listen to him. That his and the Taliban ideas female liberation.

Fun fact. In the Quran there is no age limit to when a man can marry a girl. You can marry a literal infant. You have to look to hadiths to get a limitation and even then..... Not much limits. The Quran also clearly states how long a PREPUBESCENT girl needs to wait until she can be REmarried off.... Married again. If a man wants to divorce he simply says divorce three times and it's done. A chick can be refused by imams, elders, parents, and of course husband. But of course none of the pro Muslim westerners know a fucking thing about that fucked up religion/cult.

i totally get that girl talking about how we have no time to do stuff. that’s why i changed my shift from 9:30am - 6pm to 6am - 2:30pm🤣 same amount of hours but it at least gives me time to do stuff that i enjoy. the whole coming home after work with only enough time to shower, eat then sleep is depressing. maybe older generations can handle it but thankfully we got more options now. thanks blaire for not immediately resorting to trashing this girl because while she may seem whiny i feel she expressed what a lot of us have felt some point in our lives. i hope we can find a way to change our circumstances to better suit our lifestyles

In response to the Osama bin laden topic - I think I am going to throw up! Most of Gen Z are too young to know what the rest of us went through, I know most of TikTok is Gen Z - at least these videos are. Anyone older than that should be ashamed of themselves for falling for smut. That monster is a terrorist. We were at war for many years and a lot of us lost loved ones.

I do love how quickly you did the "You know what else is well written?" And without even half a beat followed by "Please don't read it!" Girl! Nail on the head. And it's sad that it's nail on the head. Imagine a world where your mind is so far gone that doing something meant to educate (reading) could stand to make you dumber.

Last week I was shopping at Lush and got caught up in a conversation about politics. I mentioned that I was pretty conservative and everyone got super quiet and then told me that I ruined the mood. It's not like I was going to debate, either. I was passing by and they tried to get someone new to join their daisy chain of liberalism. It was pretty sad.

Tik tok is poison. I was getting up and going straight to that app. Feeling like crap all day. I started to notice my attention span getting progressively shorter. I decided to just delete the app and started to read books. I don't even miss it.

@@DominantBtchBecause you have to split your attention. If you love someone completely, then it only makes sense to give them all of you. If you split it between multiple people, it means you dont fully care for one other person because you have to share. I tried to be polymorphous and it was satisfactory. Felt wrong. I didn't want my partners to share their time with others but that's exactly what I was doing. I guess if you really didn't care about the other people much, then this could work for you?
