My niece was raped as a toddler, and now shes 11 years old. We were going to the local pool and as she saw a man changing she immediately became uncomfortable and then broke down as he looked at her changing. Thank you for doing that! I was at my gym locker room with my child and a bearded man went into the change room to change with us! I went to the front desk and complained. I even made a point of saying it wasn't a trans woman, I wouldn't have cared if it was, it was a big bear of a man with a beard. The manager of the rec centre said that he couldn't tell people which change room to use.

Feminism was highjacked by man hating butch women. The suffragettes were heterosexual feminine women who loved their husbands and just wanted to vote. But Blaire is the real deal, and is single handedly responsible for changing my opinion of trans people. I now consider myself an ally to real trans people. Because gender dysphoria is real, and I want to empathize. I used to be a very toxic Christian. You know, the kind that believes that gender dysphoria is a lie and trans women all just have Daddy issues? Yeah. I was like that. And the transtrenders like Dylan Mulvaney and Lia Thomas... Didn't help. But when I found Blaire and listened to her... I realized that trans people are real and legitimate. Gender dysphoria is real and legitimate. Watching a parent transition their child is horrifying to me. I am a woman but my mother has always wanted a son. She would continuously call me her boy and tell ppl that I was her son when I am a biological female. It fucked me up so bad I lost touch with my feminine side. I have no doubt that if this was as big of a thing as it is, I would have been one of those children who was transitioned. I am proud to be the woman I am today but as a kid I was so confused. Honestly looking back I can see how manipulating it was, even to this day I can't escape it because I always get told I'm too masculine and everyone just labels me as a masc lesbian. I'm a heterosexual, biological female but nobody believes me.

Can't even imagine the psychological impact that would have on a kid! My mother never did that, but definitely did her fair share of psychological damage. I've spent years in therapy just trying to recognize the things I believed about myself because they were said to me or about me, more so projected onto me. Our brains are basically built on a foundation of a few core beliefs and concepts about ourselves and the world around us, and develop around those things. So when a parent decides that you're a certain way, and tries to mold you to that identity, there's a mismatch in your brain, causing tons of confusion around that self identity! Not to mention the damage it does to your relationship with people you're supposed to trust and rely on to protect you, which also has a ripple effect into other areas of your life. Sorry you went through that, hope you find healing ❤

I’ve never related to a comment harder and I’m weirdly comforted that someone else out there has experienced this. My mom was a pick me boy Mom, who wanted four sons and ended up with two of each instead. As a former liberal, I have always felt white liberals were “lowkey” racist. It was just the condescending tones, or telling me I was "well spoken" or "pretty for a black girl," or even were shocked that I was into anime, cosplay, theater, or wanted to learn an Asian language. Just a few of many examples, in hindsight, are just crazy to realize how racist those liberals I used to be friends with or associate with were. Looking back, it is now clear to me that these were just a few examples of how racist some of the liberals I used to associate with were. After becoming a conservative, I realized that I had always been one. Although I had attended a few pride parades and thought I was supporting a valid cause, I was raised as a Christian and went to Catholic school until high school. When I became an LGBTQ+ ally, my mother refused to talk to me for two years. At that time, I despised her for it. However, after traveling abroad for a few years and distancing myself from the left, I began to see them for the cult they were, and realized that I had been disrespectful and ungrateful towards my mother. Now, I can't stop apologizing to her!

This is exactly what happened to me. I had 36DD breasts when I was only 13 years old, and all of the sudden I wasn’t a kid anymore, I was just a object to stare or grope at and constantly made uncomfortable by my male classmates, and even a male substitute teacher at one point. P.E was very embarrassing and made me very self conscious after that, because while we were doing track mile runs, boys would point at my chest and make mocking, vulgar gestures at me for my breasts bouncing from running…One of my ex male friends even broke his arm because he kept trying to grab my butt while our class was walking up a flight of stairs, but slipped and fell during the 4th(?) groping attempt. Sounds ridiculous but it’s true, and even though a good portion of my classmates saw what I was doing, they still stared judgmentally at me when I laughed at my ex friend getting a dose of karma for trying to touch me.

Ive been onto the trans kid Munchausen by proxy angle for awhile. I knew this guy when I was in rehab in the late 2000s. I was like 19 and he was like 30. He was all fucked up. Dual diagnosis. Alcoholic, drug addict, whatever psych diagnosis he had. When we were in group the main thing he was always "working through" with the therapist was basically how his mom had Munchausen by proxy and had basically forced him into weird hormonal treatments as a kid. Through doctor accomplices or just by convincing doctors to do whatever because they werent paying close enough attention. Like basically she gave him the same chemical castration medication they are giving kids now and tried to turn him into a girl because she had a history of rape and abuse and she didn't like the fact her little boy was going through puberty and becoming an evil man. He was still having to take testosterone years later because his levels were all messed up. The therapist had his medical record and his history and she later told me in confidence (she shouldnt have done that lol, I ended up being in thay place for much longer than average and basically had the run of the place by the end. I was like unpaid staff) that basically everything he said, at least about what his mother did to him, was true. The only difference is that his mother did this to him in the early-mid 90s and when the truth came out she went to prison and child services took him away from her. Back then it was just taken for granted that this was child abuse.

She passed away March 2020 she would be horrified to see how crazy things have gotten since she passed. Born Male Identified female took hormones and lived full time as a Trans woman. I fell in love with a person and not their anatomy I loved her unconditionally. We never once had a male female sexual relationship. She was assexual. Hey there! I speak as a devout Christian and say you are VERY RIGHT that it seems like children of church leaders disproportionately suffer from various mental afflictions. My beau and I had a good friend who was 1) the son of a famous church leader, 2) an extremely talented carpenter, and 3) a struggling IV drug addict. He was not even 50 years old yet when he died suddenly just a few weeks ago, presumably from an overdose. Or perhaps just a complication from long-term drug use. In any case, we loved him and will miss him forever.

I had a liberal professor in DC that taught about trans issues through a course called "Apology" and it focused on the forced medical transition of intersex children in the 50s and how the LGBTQ community deserved apology for forced medicalization by parents & doctors. I wonder what her take on the societal medicalization is now??

I’ve never heard of this but that’s super interesting. I once took a gender studies class called “sex, gender, power” because I wanted the easy A. Interestingly, my teacher told us that non binary isn’t a gender and then went into gender identity vs gender expression to explain why.

I never had a class on it, but once I found out about intersex, I swore that if I had an intersex baby, they were not going to be allowed to do a DAMN thing to it until it showed what gender it wanted to be, or hormones showed up, or both. The kid should be the one making that decision, not some doctor who will never have to deal with the consequences. As it turns out, I never had kids, so it didn't matter, but I was ready to fight for my kid if needed for EXACTLY those reasons!

One thing that confuses the fuck out of me is that adults are meant to have more rights then children, right, except when it comes to a Trans teenage biological girl vs a grown woman older then 25 when it comes to their own body autonomy... why are 12 year old girls allowed to remove their breast's, but women with years of medical conditions and complications can't get hysterectomies.... make it make sense.

Because a bunch of women got hysterectomies when they were young and then went back and sued the doctors for a choice they made and ruined it for everyone else...actions =consequences

Blair you are so right about libs vs cons. I am a conservative and I never start a conversation about politics at work cause it's not my business. But libs they love to feel like they are an elite, they need to appreciate themselves by looking down on the others. Exactly as you said - conservatives can handle other people having their own opinions, but libs not. Thank you for your work!

Here in North Carolina in the next county over, the county I was born in, a man was in Planet Fitness and approached a 17-year-old girl, asked if she would shower with him and rub lotion on him. THANK GOD they ARRESTED that creep. I was watching a KZfaqr from the UK when I found out. I couldn't believe it happened so close and I didn't hear a report on it but someone from across the pond found out. I am furious!

I’m Christian, an “ex-hoe” and I was saved on mushrooms 5 years ago, so Pearl doesn’t know anything. I sincerely welcome Nala back into the fold. It’s amazing to know and be loved by Jesus. The whole point of being saved by Jesus is that you needed to be saved in the first place, because none of us are perfect, and a lot of us miss that point sadly.

It’s a very common female experience to feel safer and more comfortable in men’s clothes. It doesn’t women/girls on, because unlike men, we don’t wear the opposite sex’s clothes to get horny and have “euphoria boners”, we sometimes wear men’s clothes to feel less objectified and to be comfy. As someone once said, women wear men’s clothes to be invisible, and men wear women’s clothes to be objectified.

@@pineappleparty1624boy’s/men’s clothes are actually made from higher quality material.. They are thicker and more durable. I worked in retail and got to see first-hand the difference between the men’s and women’s department. That always made me bitter the way so many women’s/girl’s clothing is paper thin and see-through!! You can tell just by looking at them and comparing that the girl’s stuff was cheaply made.. And I’ve been told it’s because women’s fashion trends are shifting so rapidly that they just focus of aesthetics instead of ACTUAL QUALITY. I hate it so so much. Screw trends I just want clothes that don’t fall apart after two washes
