Isn't that how it works? They get the people who have no clue how to cook but can spot something "gorgeous' from a mile away and get them to pay small fortunes for this stuff....I bet a GE cooks just as well.

@@paolainvernizzi2028 It's just a joke. I'm looking at buying a 36 inch with a small griddle. I know that I can use the griddle for everything because I worked as a cook in high school!

Dishwashers are for dishes. *No* griddle, grill pan, cast iron skillet, etc. should be put in a dishwasher.

@@seikibrian8641 I guess I'm trailer trash or something, but except for cast iron (which will become 'unseasoned' and rusty), EVERYTHING that fits inside and won't melt goes into the dishwasher at my house. It's why we have a dishwasher! Mom wasted so much of her time in the kitchen protecting her precious Tupperware and carefully loading the dishwasher just so. She would even decline anyone's offer to help! We'd want her to relax with us after a meal, but no, she had to be in the kitchen cleaning up and missing out on everything. Even as an adult, I couldn't get her to let us at least pitch in so that clean-up would get done sooner and she could hang out. Her husband and my little brother were eventually "trained" to just set their gooey dishes in a disgusting pile on the countertop after a meal. I'd try to rinse mine off and carefully arrange them in the dishwasher so she wouldn't have to bother with them. The others never caught on... Thankfully, we all get to pick and choose how to expend our life's seconds and energy. I've already used too many of them writing this comment...

@@billtravis523 Like cast iron, so too do griddles, grill pans, and similar items develop a seasoning. The harsh chemicals used in dish washers that allow them to work with just water sprays rather than physical cleaning will do to them what they will do to cast iron. (The exception is non-stick-coated cookware, but I don't use non-stick griddles and grill pans.)

OH... then we see the buns... Much to much bread to meat ratio... who is this guy?
@sortathesame87014 жыл бұрын
Not burnt at all! He cooked them over a 400 degree grill, so the outside had the perfect maillard reaction, giving the meat great color (and color means flavor!) with a medium inside. This was lamb, so you don't want it rare!
