That's what I love about this scene. If you couldn't hear them, there woould be literally no indication that they would be talking about anything but business. They're in their suits, sitting around a boardroom table, got paperwork out, pens in hands. It's like a freaking perfect metaphor for corrupt business behind closed doors.
