I wouldn’t be mad for another few pieces of content about the gothic war. I like learning about how these pieces of lore came to be from GW wanting to promote the game and the business. I’ve been calling it meta-lore but I don’t know what you’d actually call it.

Thanks for another fabulous dramatic reading. Gordon Rennie is one of my favorite Warhammer 40k authors, and adding your epic voice acting to Rennie’s prose just adds to the enjoyment.

The entire Gothic War series is prime 40k. It's just....incredible. It's everything 40k is and should be. I'm a bit sad there isn't more, but at the same time, I'm glad we have this series as it is, untainted by modern garbage.

This makes me hype for the conclusion of shadow point, I got into 40k recently and the lore videos and audio narrations get me through long ass shifts at work, keep working hard for the imperium young border prince

Great story and love these Imperial Navy shorts about missions that are the most common not the huge battles that are nlte rare but happens in 40K far more then other settings.

So this is how short stories work, funny, I use this kind of writing as my character sketch and world building lab... never took the ones I wrote seriously unless I get back to them to salvage some parts for the real story in the project... as a past midnight amateur scifi writer with nothing published properly yet, I suffer a miserable lack of capability to take on small projects, everything I do ends up into a trilogy composed of a couple of millions of words in total... I mean longer stories you have narrated for us usually are the size of three or four chapters in a story of fifteen in the things I do... and I find it kinda less than constructive on my end, not every audience is interested in wading through a full saga each time they pick up a story... and yet, I just can't stop myself from overdoing it... it's kinda my slaaneshi vice I guess...

I really like these shorter stories. In all honesty, I think the 40K universe is far better suited to this kind of story than to the massive pulp-sci-fi novels Black Library spits out.

Each have their place in the 40k universe. I find myself consuming more of the short stories during the day, and the longer novels/content at night.

I think it's because it was just a 'this then that' story. There was little character motivation. Also low stakes with a feeling of inevitably. And nothing interesting happened! 😄

He only managed to do it with 6 books... Yes the series is longer but I l "also" literally have zero shits on how it ended. The protagonist story arcs had "ALL" fallen into Daemon Patriarch territory and I no longer trusted "Jordan" to even know what right was, much less paint a cohesive savior. Following order's just because, DAMNED more than it saved, buddy...

Did I hear you righr....30 Km? Ummm....the largest ships in warhammer 40k are the primarch ships that I believe the largest was 26 km or the planet killer. There is no cruise or battleship current that have a ship that large....🤔

These have been brilliant to listen to and the characters and the way he writes about the ships is great plus I think you do an awesome job of reading to is all and we are all grateful for the effort you put in. I've tried listening to others as there are stories you have not read but these guys are so bland or try too hard for some voices and it just doesn't work in my opinion. Have written a book or any short stories? I think with the knolage you have you would be able to. Anyways, thanks again for being the best there is.
